Rakuten Viki is a popular streaming platform for fans of Asian dramas and shows worldwide. It brings together thousands of Korean dramas, Chinese dramas, Japanese dramas, Thai dramas, and more, with subtitles in over 200 languages. This makes it easier for viewers in different regions to follow their favorite shows.
For users who only watch from time to time, the basic features may be enough. But if you watch often and care more about ads, video quality, and the number of devices, Viki Pass Plus is a better choice.
After upgrading to Viki Pass Plus, you can get a better viewing experience with ad free streaming, Full HD 1080p, offline viewing, and streaming on up to 4 devices at the same time. If the official subscription price feels too high, you can also buy a Viki Pass Plus subscription on GamsGo and watch more Asian dramas and shows with a lower budget.
What Is a Viki Pass Plus Subscription?

After subscribing, you can enjoy a smoother viewing experience with ad free streaming, Full HD 1080p, offline viewing, and streaming on up to 4 devices at the same time.

For users who think the official subscription price is too high, buying a Viki Pass Plus subscription on GamsGo can help you watch more popular Asian dramas and variety shows at a lower cost.
What Are the Advantages of Viki Pass Plus Over Viki Pass Standard?
Viki Pass Standard and Viki Pass Plus are both paid subscription plans from Rakuten Viki. Both plans support ad free viewing, HD video quality, and Viki Pass exclusive content. The main difference is the viewing experience. Viki Pass Plus is better for users who need offline viewing, more simultaneous streams, and higher video quality.
The main benefits of buying a Viki Pass Plus subscription include:
- Offline viewing: Viki Pass Plus lets you download selected available shows on mobile devices. This is useful for commuting, travel, or watching when the internet connection is unstable. The Standard plan does not include offline viewing.
- Up to 4 simultaneous streams: Viki Pass Plus supports streaming on up to 4 devices at the same time. This makes it better for families or users who watch on multiple devices. The Standard plan usually supports only 1 stream at a time.
- Full HD 1080p viewing: Viki Pass Plus supports Full HD 1080p content. It is a better fit for users who care more about picture quality or often watch on a TV or large screen. The actual video quality still depends on whether the title supports it and how stable your internet connection is.
In short, if you mainly watch alone at home and do not need higher video quality, Viki Pass Standard is enough. If you need downloads or want to share viewing with family or friends, Viki Pass Plus should be your first choice.
