What Is Aniimo?
Aniimo is a free-to-play, open-world creature-collecting RPG developed by Pawprint Studio and published by Kingsglory Games. Released in September 2026 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and mobile, the game takes you to Idyll, a fantasy world filled with creatures called Aniimo. As a Pathfinder, you explore the world, catch and train creatures, build your team, and take on battles and challenges.
What sets Aniimo apart is its Twining system, which lets you merge with your creatures and use their abilities to explore the world. Beyond collecting Aniimo, you can team up with friends, tackle co-op challenges, and compete in Egg Heist PvP battles. While creatures can be caught through gameplay rather than gacha pulls, in-game purchases offer additional ways to customize your experience and support your progression.
What Are Aniimo Lumin Crystals and What Are They Used For?
Lumin Crystals are the premium currency in Aniimo, purchased with real money through top-ups. Unlike Glimmer, Credits, and other currencies earned through gameplay, they are mainly used for premium shop purchases, including special capture items, character outfits, and resource bundles.
Here are the main ways to spend Lumin Crystals and what each purchase offers:
- Sparkling Cubes: Cost 1,500 Lumin Crystals each. These special Aniipods guarantee a successful capture and give the caught Aniimo Perfect potential and a Sparkling appearance, making them especially useful for rare Alphas.
- Limited outfits: Many outfits cost between 980 and 1,280 Lumin Crystals. They let you customize your character's appearance, with some designs available only during specific events or shop rotations.
- Capture and growth bundles: These packs contain combinations of capture tools, Capability Fruit, and other progression materials. Their contents and prices vary by bundle.
- Weekly Value Supplies: Cost 60 Lumin Crystals, with a limit of one purchase per week. Each pack includes 120 Glimmer, 120 Voxel Coins, and 2 Vein Essence.
If you're deciding how to spend your Lumin Crystals, prioritize the items that match your needs. Sparkling Cubes are useful for catching rare Aniimo, outfits focus on customization, while resource bundles offer extra materials for team development.
How to Get Lumin Crystals in Aniimo?
There are two main ways to get Lumin Crystals in Aniimo: purchasing crystal packs directly or buying the Monthly Pass. Each option offers different rewards, depending on how you plan to spend.
- Direct top-ups: Purchase Lumin Crystal packs in six sizes, ranging from 60 to 6,480 crystals. Each pack includes a bonus, with additional first-purchase rewards available for each tier.
- Monthly Pass: For $4.99, the pass provides 330 Lumin Crystals immediately, along with daily Glimmer and other benefits over 30 days.
Direct top-ups are better suited to players who need a specific amount of crystals immediately, while the Monthly Pass offers additional daily rewards for regular players. If you're buying crystals for the first time, check the bonus details for each pack before choosing.

Besides Lumin Crystal packs, Aniimo offers a Monthly Pass and two paid tiers of the seasonal Companion Handbook. These provide additional rewards for regular play, including premium currency, capture items, and exclusive cosmetics. All three are available on GamsGo at discounted prices, with savings of up to 11.6%.
- Monthly Pass – $4.75 (5.9% OFF): Normally $5.05, this pass gives 330 Lumin Crystals immediately and 100 Glimmer daily for 30 days. It also includes 6,000 Companion EXP, a higher Primegy cap, and faster egg hatching. A good option for players who log in regularly.
- Advanced Companion Handbook – $9.57 (6% OFF): Down from $10.18, this tier unlocks the premium seasonal reward track, including two Sparkling Cubes, additional storage, and an exclusive egg. Best suited to players who want more rewards as they progress through the season.
- Keepsakes Companion Handbook – $17.67 (11.6% OFF): Normally $19.99, this upgraded tier includes all Advanced rewards, plus a third Sparkling Cube, extra storage, 10 instant Handbook levels, and exclusive cosmetics. It offers the biggest percentage discount of the three options.
