A Cyberpunk collab, the first-ever SP character, and even the Sentinel Resonator of Xinyuehu.
Ver. 3.4 through 3.7 of Wuthering Waves are shaping up to be four of the most packed updates the game has had in a long while. A collab-exclusive character unlikely to get a rerun, the “complete form” of the game’s poster girl, and even a massive Sentinel-class character. There just isn’t enough Astrite. I can already picture Rovers shouting exactly that.
In this article, we comprehensively break down the new characters expected in Ver. 3.4 through 3.7 based on Wuthering Waves leak information. “Who is coming?” “When are they coming?” “Where should you spend your Astrite?" We answer all three.
If you want to prepare Astrite ahead of the banners, you can top up Wuthering Waves Lunites for less on GamsGo.

Wuthering Waves Leaks|Ver. 3.4-3.7 New Character List
📝 About the sources: This article compares hands-on closed beta test data, information from overseas leakers such as Seele Leaks and Stepleaker, and official drip marketing.
The Ver. 3.4 characters are relatively reliable because beta testing is ongoing, while Ver. 3.6 and later are still in the early leak stage and may change significantly. We update this article whenever new information appears.
First, let’s look at the big picture. Before getting into the finer details of each kit, here is a quick overview of the characters expected to appear over the next four versions.

The release timing is estimated based on an approximately six-week version cycle. From here, we’ll dig into each version.
📌 Updated 5/29 (official livestream reflected): Ver. 3.4 has been confirmed as a shorter-than-usual 32-day version. The Lucy + Rebecca collab banner will be a dedicated banner available for the entire period from June 8 to July 9, Lucilla starts on June 13, and the Cartethyia rerun starts on June 18 (until the version ends).
Through the collab banner milestone event, players can obtain up to 2 free copies of either Lucy or Rebecca based on the number of pulls made. In addition, free Astrite equivalent to roughly 110-160 pulls is expected to be distributed through events and other sources.
Ver. 3.4 Leaks: Cyberpunk Collab
Wuthering Waves is finally getting its first cross-IP collab. The partner is Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. There are three 5-star characters, and Rebecca is even being given out for free. This is a seriously stacked version.
The banner lineup was confirmed during the official livestream on May 29. The collab banner (Lucy & Rebecca) is a dedicated banner that stays available throughout all of Ver. 3.4, operating separately from the usual limited banners.
On the regular banner side, Lucilla (from June 13) + Cartethyia rerun (from June 18) are confirmed. The collab banner also comes with a milestone event, letting players receive up to 2 free copies of either Lucy or Rebecca after reaching certain pull counts.
However, because this is a shortened 32-day version, you’ll have less time than usual to finish your pulls.
Lucy

![]() Lucy |
| ||||||||||||
Lucy is a Spectro Pistols main DPS, confirmed by the official X character card (★5, Spectro, Pistols). Based on leak information up through beta 3.4.3, she appears to be a ranged damage dealer who pressures enemies with rapid ranged attacks.
In the latest adjustments, her Basic Attack multipliers were slightly reduced, while her Resonance Liberation damage was increased.
Her gameplay loop is to mark enemies with Basic Attacks, build stacks, then cash everything out with her Resonance Liberation once enough stacks have built up. Her Intro Skill can provide the whole team with a Spectro DMG Bonus and an attack speed buff, so Lucy boosts team damage while serving as the attacker herself.
🎮 Rover Notes: As of beta 3.4.3, her cycle of “build marks with Basic Attacks, then cash them out with Resonance Liberation” is very clear, letting her deal damage safely from range. As a Spectro attacker, she should feel completely different from Shorekeeper.
There is also information suggesting that the Adam Smasher Echo (a collab-exclusive boss) will be Lucy’s best Echo, making Ver. 3.4 look designed to complete her setup all the way down to her Echo. Since collab limited often means no rerun, pulling her is the safer choice if you are even slightly interested.
Rebecca

![]() Rebecca |
| ||||||||||
Rebecca is an Electro ★5 Pistols character, and incredibly, you can get her for free just by clearing the collab event. A free 5-star. There is basically no reason not to log in during Ver. 3.4.
She is a quick-swap sub-DPS focused on close-range burst damage. Her cycle of swapping in, firing, and swapping out is extremely short, so she can add damage without taking field time away from your main DPS. Since she looks easy to slot into teams, she should be useful in plenty of comps if you build her.
Lucilla
| Lucilla Basic Info | |||||||||||||
![]() Lucilla |
| ||||||||||||
Lucilla is a Glacio ★5 Rectifier sub-DPS, and in short, she looks like the final piece for Glacio teams.
According to beta leaks, Lucilla deploys a field with her Resonance Skill that stacks Glacio Chafe on enemies while giving the team Glacio DMG, Crit DMG, and Resonance Skill DMG buffs all at once.
Her Resonance Liberation consumes all stacks to deal heavy damage while also triggering an additional Crit Rate buff. She is basically a support packed with everything Glacio attackers want.
🎮 Rover Notes: Lucilla’s role is quick-swap: come in, fire, and leave. Since allies deal more damage while her field is active, she can raise team damage without cutting into the field time of Glacio attackers like Hiyuki or Carlotta.
Glacio teams were suddenly rebooted in Ver. 3.3 with Hiyuki and the Echo set "Wishes of Quiet Snowfall," so Lucilla may be the final piece to watch. That said, she shares a version with the collab, so be careful with your Astrite budget.
Ver. 3.4 Collab Event Details
The collab puts real effort into its event content, not just the characters. In the official teaser PV "Good Morning, Solaris!", Lucy and Rebecca wander into Lahai-Roi and interact with the academy cast.
The PV's final shot shows David looking down at Earth from the moon. He is not confirmed as playable, but a story NPC appearance looks likely.
Adam Smasher is more than a story character: beta footage confirms he can be fought as a boss enemy. Leaked clips show Lucy and Rebecca taking him on, and the Echo dropped after the fight reportedly carries enhancement effects tailored to the two of them.
A collab-limited boss that also drops a limited Echo gives players one more reason to log in during Ver. 3.4.
The collab also adds a new explorable area, Somnoire: Night City, recreating familiar Cyberpunk spots like the Cherry Blossom Market and Arasaka Headquarters so players can soak in the Night City vibe within Solaris-3.
A Cyberpunk-style Expedition Motorbike has also been leaked as a possible new traversal option.
Ver. 3.5 Leaks: First SP Character, Yangyang
This version could be a turning point for Wuthering Waves. The game’s poster girl Yangyang returns in SP form as a limited ★5 character, the story moves back to Huanglong, the new area “Mengzhou” opens, and Electro Rover is also added.
SP Yangyang (Xuanling)

| ||||||||||||
Remember the mysterious girl who appeared in the game’s opening animation? “Isn’t that Yangyang?" That question, whispered about for ages, is finally getting an answer.
SP Yangyang is Wuthering Waves’ first SP character. From the original ★4 Aero support, she is being completely reborn as a ★5 Havoc main DPS. Her attribute, weapon, combat style, and appearance are all different.
The main highlight is the transformation mechanic triggered by her Resonance Liberation. She changes into the girl from the opening, and her combat style shifts dramatically.
Since launch, the poster girl has often been called underwhelming in terms of gameplay, and this is the moment she finally gets serious as a ★5. Combined with story developments that dig into the core of the plot, this could become the biggest celebration version in Wuthering Waves history.
Note that SP characters are treated as completely separate characters. Even if you own the original Yangyang, you will still need to pull SP Yangyang separately.
New Area: Mengzhou
Alongside the return to Huanglong in Ver. 3.5, the new area “Mengzhou” is expected to open. Mengzhou is a China-inspired region, and its design is expected to differ from the Huanglong areas we have seen so far.
The development team has commented that “Mengzhou character designs will be bolder and more detailed than ever,” so the visuals of new characters such as Yangyang and Suisui are worth watching closely.
On the gameplay side, regional mechanics unique to Mengzhou are expected to be introduced. Details remain unknown, but there is information suggesting that Suisui’s kit will interact with these Mengzhou mechanics, potentially making it a new combat system following Lahai-Roi’s academy mechanics.
According to leakers, Ver. 3.5 acts as the “entrance” to Mengzhou, with full-scale exploration of Mengzhou unfolding from Ver. 3.6 onward.
Suisui

She is Yangyang’s younger sister, a character who had only appeared by name in character stories and in-game text, and she is finally becoming playable. According to leaks, her personality is introverted and gentle.
Her role is support, and some information suggests she may replace Zhezhi’s position. She is expected to interact with Mengzhou mechanics, but specific skill details are still unknown.
Electro Rover

This is the protagonist Rover's fourth attribute form. After Spectro, Havoc, and Aero, Electro Rover will be available for free as the story progresses.
Ver. 3.6 Leaks: Qingxiao, Jingran, and the Xinyuehu Early Release Theory
This is the version where the Mengzhou area truly gets underway. Initially, Qingxiao and Jingran were expected as the two characters, but the latest information from multiple leak sources suggests that Xinyuehu (Hsin) may be moved up to Ver. 3.6 First Half.
If true, that would bring the character one version earlier than the Ver. 3.7 First Half placement shown in the table. That said, leak information from Ver. 3.6 onward contains many uncertain elements and may change significantly later.
Qingxiao
| Qingxiao Basic Info | |||||||||||
? Qingxiao |

A female character expected to appear in the first half of Ver. 3.6. Leaks describe her as a “wuxia female swordswoman,” but her attribute, weapon type, and skills are all unknown.
Jingran
| Jingran Basic Info | |||||||||||
? Jingran |
| ||||||||||
A character expected for the second half of Ver. 3.6. Early leaks described him as a “tomb raider-style male,” but newer information has also raised the possibility of a young-looking, Chinese-style female character named “Lulu.”
Wuthering Waves has a pattern of releasing roughly two male ★5 characters per year, so there is still a chance this could be the next male slot after Liuke. Either way, attribute, weapon, and skills are all unknown, so we are waiting for more information.
Ver. 3.7 Leaks: Xinyuehu and Suoming
The table places Hsin in Ver. 3.7 First Half, but as mentioned above, the theory that he may be moved up to Ver. 3.6 First Half is becoming increasingly likely. If he releases in Ver. 3.6, the Ver. 3.7 lineup may change significantly.
The information below is based on the Ver. 3.7 First Half theory, but this section will be updated depending on future leaks.
Hsin

Huanglong’s Sentinel "Xinyuehu," a being whose name has come up repeatedly in the story, but who has not yet become playable, is finally coming.
The community is split almost completely in two over his attribute.
- Electro theory: This is based on pattern analysis that Electro is the only attribute not yet covered in the post-Ver. 3.0 cycle. Since SP Yangyang fills Havoc and Suisui fills Glacio, the logic is that the remaining major slot has to be Electro.
- Glacio theory: This is based on ties to the Moon-Chasing Festival story and the existence of overseas leak sources calling the character a “Glacio Hybrid DPS.” Some players also point out that a Sentinel-class character could arrive with power that surpasses the current Glacio meta.
Influential community leakers support both theories, so nothing will be confirmed until beta testing begins.
As a Sentinel-class character, top-tier performance is almost guaranteed. This article uses the latest leak placement (Ver. 3.7 First Half), but everything remains fluid until an official announcement.
Suoming

? Suoming |

A female character whose name has been mentioned for the second half of Ver. 3.7. Leaks only list her as “S-rank,” with her visuals and skills almost entirely unknown. Since this version is still several months away, the information may change drastically.
Story Development Leaks
Looking at the story flow, not just characters and systems, can also help with banner planning. This section contains spoilers, so skip it if you do not want to know.
Ver. 3.3-3.4: Conclusion of the Startorch Academy Arc and the Collab
The currently ongoing Startorch Academy arc will conclude in Ver. 3.3. The Lahai-Roi storyline reaches a stopping point here. Ver. 3.4 then focuses on the standalone Cyberpunk collab story, making it more of an “intermission” for the main story.
Ver. 3.5: Return to Huanglong and the Truth About Yangyang
The setting returns to Huanglong, and the story’s focus shifts to Yangyang. The identity of the mysterious girl from the opening animation will be revealed here, tying into SP Yangyang becoming playable. This version is also expected to be a major turning point in the Wuthering Waves story.
Ver. 3.6-3.7: Deeper Mengzhou and Xinyuehu
As the story moves deeper into Mengzhou, foreshadowing related to Huanglong’s Sentinel “Xinyuehu” is expected to pay off. The latest leaks strongly suggest that Hsin, the Resonator of Xinyuehu, may become playable in Ver. 3.6, likely lining up with the Sentinel’s appearance in the story.
How Should You Spend Astrite? Recommended Plans by Player Type
Starting from Ver. 3.4, nine ★5 characters are lined up in a row. How you spend your Astrite will make a big difference, so check which player type you are closest to.
- Collab-first players: Lucy is the clear choice. Collab limited characters have no guaranteed rerun, so if you miss her, that may really be it. Rebecca is free, so it is fine to put all your Astrite into Lucy.
- Yangyang fans: Save until SP Yangyang in Ver. 3.5. She is Wuthering Waves’ first SP character, the culmination of the poster girl, and the core of Havoc teams. Her expected performance is also very high, so she is absolutely worth betting on.
- Dedicated Hiyuki mains: If you have Hiyuki, complete your Glacio team with Lucilla. She is a sub-DPS built around the Glacio Chafe effect, so she is worth considering if you have even one Glacio attacker. If you have no Glacio characters at all, it is fine to skip here.
- Players waiting for the strongest option: Save everything for Xinyuehu. Sentinel characters are always among the strongest picks, making this the safest choice. The latest leaks increasingly suggest a move up to Ver. 3.6 First Half, so the saving period may be shorter than the original Ver. 3.7 expectation.
There are four versions from Ver. 3.4 to 3.7, so if you plan your pulls carefully, getting multiple ★5 characters is still very realistic.
What Are SP Characters?
Here is what we currently know about the SP character system debuting in Ver. 3.5.
- Treated as a completely separate character: Attribute, weapon, skills, and appearance all differ from the original. It is another version of the same character, but in-game it is treated as a separate character.
- Owning the original does not unlock the SP version automatically: SP characters must be pulled separately through Convene. The original character’s Sequence level and build progress also do not carry over.
- Similar to SP characters in Honkai: Star Rail: In HSR, characters such as Silver Wolf and Blade have already received SP versions, and Wuthering Waves appears to be introducing a similar system.
- More SP characters may follow: Yangyang is the first, but the community is already speculating about SP versions of other early characters such as Sanhua and Jiyan.
Summary
Collab limited, SP awakening, a Sentinel's arrival.Ver. 3.4 through 3.7 are an absolutely wild lineup. Lucy, who may never rerun; SP Yangyang, the culmination of the poster girl; and the Sentinel-class Xinyuehu. Having this many major characters arrive within half a year may be the biggest wave Wuthering Waves has seen since launch.
Leak information is updated day by day, so this article will also be updated as new information appears. Make your final pull decisions after checking the official livestream. Until then, save your Astrite and enjoy imagining what is coming!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How Reliable Are Wuthering Waves Leaks?
Overseas leakers share information on Discord, Telegram, X, and other platforms, while Japanese sites such as Solaris News compile roundup articles. Information after beta testing begins tends to be more accurate, but leaks several versions ahead can include fake information, so cross-checking multiple sources is essential.
What is a Sp Character? Do I Get One if I Own the Original?
An SP character is an existing character fully redesigned as a new limited ★5 character. Since the attribute, weapon, skills, and appearance are all different, owning the original Yangyang does not automatically unlock SP Yangyang. You need to pull her through Convene.
Is Xinyuehu Coming in Ver. 3.6 or Ver. 3.7?
Earlier information was split between Ver. 3.6 and Ver. 3.7 theories, but as of May 2026, the latest leaks are increasingly pointing toward a Ver. 3.6 First Half release. Either way, a release in the second half of 2026 is almost certain, so it is recommended to start saving carefully and avoid overspending Astrite on the Ver. 3.4 collab.
Is Xinyuehu Glacio or Electro?
It is unconfirmed. Since Hiyuki filled the top Glacio slot in Ver. 3.3, the view that “Glacio does not need another major character yet” has spread, and the Electro theory is becoming more dominant.
Will the Collab Characters Get a Rerun?
Unconfirmed. Kuro's other title, Punishing: Gray Raven, has rerun collabs before, but Wuthering Waves has no precedent yet, so secure them in Ver. 3.4 if you want them for sure.
When Will Ver. 3.5 Be Released?
Since Ver. 3.4 is scheduled to begin on June 8, 2026, Ver. 3.5 is estimated to arrive roughly six weeks later, in late July 2026.
