Version 3.1 is officially here, bringing the highly anticipated rerun of Galbrena. Originally debuting in Version 2.7, this 5-Star Fusion Pistol DPS remains a powerhouse in the Tower of Adversity, boasting a unique dual-stance mechanic and massive Echo DMG scaling.
However, maximizing her damage ceiling takes practice. Many players struggle with tracking Sinflame and Afterflame stacks, or find their rotations ruined by mistiming teammate Echo skills. Her high-reward playstyle easily feels clunky without a proper strategy.
This guide cuts through the complex kit descriptions. We will break down her optimal Echo stats, top weapon choices, and best team compositions for every investment level. You will also learn the exact rotation needed to trigger her Demon Hypostasis efficiently.

Should You Pull?
Version 3.1 "For You Who Walk In Snow" is officially here! Running from February 26 to March 18, 2026, the "From Ashes" banner brings back Galbrena. As a T0 Fusion Main DPS, she is an essential pick for your roster.
Eligibility is simple: reach Union Level 5 or clear the combat trial in Main Quest "First Resonance." New players can also use the Fast Track feature. If you secured Lupa earlier, Galbrena is the perfect DPS to finalize your Mono Fusion team.

Galbrena is a Fusion Main DPS focusing on Echo and Heavy Attack DMG, with a high dependency on her teammates. Because her own Echo Skill casting animation is relatively slow, she requires supports like Qiuyuan or Lupa.
Qiuyuan offers the highest buff synergy, acting almost as a dedicated support. Therefore, if you lack a fully built team and have sufficient Astrites, it is recommended to pull for both Galbrena and Qiuyuan.
Important Note
- Character overall tier ratings are intended merely as a reference scale, as evaluation criteria differ completely between Main DPS, Sub DPS, and Supports.
- In gacha games, personal preference is paramount; pull recommendations evaluate mechanics and strength, but should not be your sole basis for pulling.

Galbrena Best Weapons
Galbrena primarily focuses on Heavy Attack and Echo Skill damage. To maximize her damage output, prioritize weapons that boost ATK or CRIT stats.

Galbrena Best Echo Recommendations
As a Heavy Attack and Echo Skill DMG-focused DPS, Galbrena is best suited to the Flamewing's Shadow Echo Set, which boosts her Crit Rate and provides a Fusion DMG bonus. If you haven't farmed a full set yet, Molten Rift serves as a solid placeholder in the meantime.

Echo Set | Rating & Details |
![]() Flamewing's Shadow ![]() Flaming Clawprint | ★★★ - Best Galbrena primarily scales off Echo Skill DMG and Heavy Attack DMG, which is the main selling point of Flamewing's Shadow. This set with Corrosaurus maximizes Galbrena's potential, so you should collect Echoes under this set from the Nightmare Nests or Flaming Clawprint when you can! Recommended Main Echo: |
![]() Molten Rift | ★★☆ - 2nd Best Molten Rift is the second best option for Galbrena due to its easy-to-activate Fusion DMG buffs. This set is farmable very early on and is useful throughout all stages of the game. That said, you can replace the 5-pc bonus for the 3-pc bonus of Flamewing's Shadow when you get to the area. Recommended Main Echo: |
Law of Harmony ![]() Flaming Clawprint | ★☆☆ - 3rd Best Law of Harmony is decent for Galbrena, but is harder to maximize on her due to its short uptime. The set is better suited for a sub-DPS, since she can benefit from the global Echo Skill DMG buff it gives. That said, if you only have this as an option, she will utilize the bonus to some extent. Galbrena Best Teams
Galbrena excels as a DPS, but she requires field time to maximize her damage output, making hypercarry teams the ideal choice for her. For her teammates, those who can enhance her Heavy Attack DMG or Echo Skill DMG will provide the best support, optimizing her overall performance.

Galbrena's best team is with Qiuyuan and Shorekeeper. Qiuyuan is the sole unit to provide Echo Skill DMG buffs to other Resonators, and his kit fits this team perfectly. Meanwhile, Shorekeeper is the best support in the game for her insane healing and damage buffs via her Stellarealm. You want to funnel most of the buffs from Shorekeeper and Qiuyuan into Galbrena who thrives in being the on-field DPS.
General Rotation
- Initiate combat with Shorekeeper and use her combos to build up her Resonance and Concerto gauges. Once available, activate Stellarealm and Echo Skill before switching to Qiuyuan when Concerto is full.
- Have Qiuyuan enter via his Intro, then follow it up with two Basic Attacks to fill his Forte. Then, cast Echo Skill and Liberation.
- Next, hold his Heavy Attack button to perform a 3-step attack string that consumes his Forte for enhanced damage. Lastly, cast his Resonance Skill and switch out to Galbrena via Outro.
- As Galbrena, cast Echo Skill and deal 6 Basic Attacks to fill her Sinflame. Then, cast Resonance Skill and enter Demon Hypostatsis.
- In this state, cast Liberation to increase her skills' DMG multipliers on top of dealing damage. Continue this combo with 7 Basic Attacks to consume her Forte energy.
- Once Forte is depleted and Concerto full, switch back to Shorekeeper to detonate Stellarealm.
- Repeat until no enemies are left on the field.

One of Galbrena's strongest teams is the Mono Fusion team with Brant and Lupa, though you could replace Brant with Changli with slightly worse performance. Lupa has one of the highest buffing capabilities for Fusion-centric teams, and Galbrena makes use of that throughout her kit. Since Fusion DMG buffs all of her abilities regardless of their scaling, she will perform well as long as you can balance it out with getting Heavy Attack DMG and ATK from other sources. As for Brant, he is ideally your source of sustain in this team as he gives decent healing and pretty strong shields for his short rotations.
Fusion Team Rotation
Lupa enhances Brant's Fusion DMG and Basic Attack DMG, providing teamwide buffs, while Brant increases Galbrena's Fusion DMG and contributes healing for the entire team.
- Lupa starts with R - A/E - An - H - A - Ultimate E. Achieve full Concerto Energy and swap out;
- Brant enters with Intro Skill, uses R - H - H, then enhanced E to achieve full Concerto Energy and leave the field;
- Galbrena enters with Intro Skill + EQ - H3 - Dodge - E - R - A*n - Special E - Enhanced A2A3A4A5 - Dodge - Enhanced A3A4A5 to achieve full Concerto Energy;
- Lupa enters with Intro Skill and repeats the previous rotation.
3. Galbrena Heavy Attack Team
Galbrena
Iuno
Shorekeeper
Heavy Attack Team Rotation
Iuno/Mortefi supports Galbrena with Heavy Attack DMG buffs, while Shorekeeper/Cantarella/Verina provide healing and DMG buffs.
- Healer quickly fully charges Concerto Energy;
- Iuno enters with Intro Skill + RQ - Jump - AAA - EE - Enhanced H, swap out with Outro Skill;
(Or Mortefi enters with Intro Skill + E - Enhanced E - 4A - Enhanced E - RQ to achieve full Concerto Energy;) - Galbrena enters with Intro Skill + EQ - H3 - Dodge - E - R - An - Special E - Enhanced A2A3A4A5 - Dodge - Enhanced A3A4A5 to achieve full Concerto Energy;
- Healer enters with Intro Skill and repeats the previous rotation.

Cantarella
Echo Team Rotation
Cantarella boosts Phrolova's Havoc DMG and Resonance Skill DMG, while also providing healing for the team. Phrolova enhances Galbrena's Heavy Attack DMG, and both teammates help Galbrena rapidly accumulate [Afterflame].
- Cantarella starts with 3A - E - R - H - Enhanced E - Q - 3A - Ultimate E to achieve full Concerto Energy;
- Phrolova enters with Intro Skill. 3A - Enhanced A/E - E - Enhanced A/E - Q - 3A - Enhanced A/E - Enhanced H - R to achieve full Concerto Energy;

![]() Forte Circuit | Threshold State (Default) Galbrena accumulates [Afterflame] (Max 40: 8 pts per teammate Echo Skill cast) and [Sinflame] (Max 100: Generated by BA, HA, Mid-air, Res Skill, or Intro Skill). Demon Hypostasis State Basic, Heavy, Mid-air, Dodge Counter, and Resonance Skills become enhanced. Each point of [Afterflame] increases the target's DMG taken from these enhanced skills (Max 60% DMG Amplification). Attacking consumes [Purging Flame]. State ends when depleted or after 50s. |
![]() Resonance Liberation | Deals Fusion DMG (Counts as Echo Skill DMG) and can be used mid-air. While in [Demon Hypostasis], it significantly boosts the DMG multipliers of enhanced A, enhanced H, enhanced Mid-air Attack, and enhanced Dodge Counter for 14s. After casting, tap Basic Attack to chain into A2 or enhanced A2. |
Intro Skill Outro Skill | Intro Skill: Hellflare Overload Deals Fusion DMG. Afterward, hold BA to chain into H2 (or enhanced H2), or tap to chain into A2 (or enhanced A2). Outro Skill Deals massive Fusion DMG (79.5% * 3 + 556.5% ATK). Highly recommended to use when swapping out to maximize team damage. |
Inherent Skill: Fated End Buffs
Galbrena's Inherent Skill has a unique combo mechanic that amplifies all of her skills' DMG when she uses different skills in succession. Each skill generates 1 stack of Fated End every 5 seconds, up to a maximum of 4 stacks.

Optimal DPS Rotation
Combo: Intro Skill → E → Q → H3 → Dodge → E → R → A(n) → Special E → Enhanced A2 A3 A4 A5 → Dodge → Enhanced A3 A4 A5
- Enter with Intro Skill. Build [Sinflame] through Resonance Skill (E), Basic Attacks (A), and Heavy Attacks (H). Generate [Afterflame] via teammate Echo Skill casts (Q).
- Once [Sinflame] reaches 100, prepare for burst.
- CRITICAL: Before entering Demon Hypostasis, use Resonance Liberation (R) to activate all massive DMG multipliers and buffs.
- Cast Special Resonance Skill to enter [Demon Hypostasis], unleashing the enhanced A2-A5 sequence for maximum burst output until Forte energy is consumed.
Conclusion
Galbrena is a high-ceiling Main DPS who earns her T0-tier placement. Her gameplay loop is approachable for newcomers, but mastering her Afterflame banking, Hellstride timing, and Liberation windows adds genuine depth.
She rewards investment at every level — S0 is already competitive, S2 and S6 are meaningful power spikes, and Lux & Umbra remains the single largest upgrade you can give her.
Her main weakness is weapon choice. The drop-off from Lux & Umbra to alternatives is steep, with no F2P Pistol cleanly covering both damage types. Static Mist and Solar Flame are workable, but budget players will feel the gap.
For Ver. 3.1, pull priority is straightforward: pair her with Lupa from Phase 1 and S0R1 is the recommended stopping point for most players — competitive, efficient, and complete.
Galbrena's versatile kit opens up strong team options at any investment level. Planning to pull her? Top up Wuthering Waves at GamsGo and get ready for her banner. Happy gaming!
Galbrena FAQ
Is Galbrena good at S0 without her signature weapon?
Yes. S0 with Static Mist or The Last Dance clears all endgame content. Her signature weapon (Lux and Umbra) is her biggest upgrade. The gap is huge, so prioritize R1 over early Sequence Nodes.
Does Galbrena work without Qiuyuan?
Yes. Qiuyuan is best, providing Echo Skill DMG buffs and fast Afterflame generation. However, a Lupa + Brant Mono Fusion team is nearly as strong and ideal if you own Lupa. Budget teams with Mortefi and Verina are also fully functional.
When should I use Resonance Liberation?
Always inside Demon Hypostasis, never before. Her Liberation grants an 85% DMG Multiplier to enhanced skills for 14s, but this buff only applies during Demon Hypostasis. Casting it in Threshold State is completely wasted.
