WuWa Weapon Tier List 3.7: Overall & Per-Character Rankings
By GamsGo Team

Whether you’ve just pulled Wuthering Waves 3.7 Suoming or added Lynae or Lucilla to your roster during their reruns, the next question is the same: which weapons should you give them?
Your inventory may already be packed with weapons, but choosing the right one isn’t always easy. This Wuthering Waves weapon tier list considers weapon strength, character compatibility, and alternatives to help you decide what to upgrade first—and what to equip when you don’t have a signature weapon.
If you’re planning to pull Suoming’s signature weapon and need more Lunites, top up WuWa on GamsGo and save up to 30% on selected packs.
Quick Answer: Best Weapons by Type
Each pick is the highest-placed weapon of that kind in the tier lists below.
Static Mist and Phasic Homogenizer tie at four top-3 users each, so pick by who you play. *No standard Rectifier makes any character's top 3. Supports get their own 4★ pick, Variation.
How We Rank Weapons
Tiers rate how widely a weapon pays off within its own weapon type, so an S-tier Sword and an S-tier Pistol aren't directly comparable. Placement comes from the per-character rankings further down: the more characters rank a weapon in their top 3, the higher it sits.
Tier
What It Means
SS
Safest pulls. A top-3 weapon for at least a third of the characters who use that weapon type.
S
Strong but narrower. Every other 5★ (mostly signatures that peak on one or two characters, plus standard 5★s with few top-3 spots) and the single best 4★ of each type.
A
Solid stand-ins. 4★ weapons that hold up until you upgrade.
B
Placeholders. Weaker 4★s and all 3★ weapons, mainly for levelling new characters.
C
Starter gear. 1–2★ weapons; replace them as soon as you can.

Sword Tier List
Sword has the most users (17 entries, counting four Rover attunements), so the generalists stand out: Red Spring is a top-3 weapon for 13 of them and Blazing Brilliance for 10, the widest reach of any weapons in this guide.

Rectifier Tier List
Rectifier users split into two groups. Damage dealers want Crit/ATK weapons led by Stringmaster (top 3 for 9 characters); healers and buffers (Shorekeeper, Suisui, Verina, Baizhi, Buling) need Energy Regen first, which is why Stellar Symphony reaches SS and Variation leads the A tier.

Pistols Tier List
Pistols is the only type with five SS weapons: with just 9 Pistol users, three top-3 spots already make up a third. Two S-tier Pistols, Spectral Trigger and Skull Thrasher, came from the 3.4 Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collab Convene (closed July 9, 2026) and have no announced rerun, so use them if you own them but don't plan pulls around them.

How to read: % = damage relative to the standard 5★ weapon of the same type (100%), so values compare weapons for one character, not characters with each other.
Single-weapon rows: Suoming lists only Unspoken Rue because no damage calculations are out yet; early build guides name Red Spring, then Emerald of Genesis, with Lumingloss as the 4★ fallback. Rover (Aero) lists only Bloodpact's Pledge because it's a free 5★ from the 2.2 main story, made for that attunement.

Does Chisa need Kumokiri? Worth it if she's your Negative Status support: Kumokiri is about 10% ahead of Wildfire Mark on her own damage and is the only option that keeps her team buff (Prydwen notes Wildfire Mark drops it); if you missed its rerun, which ended October 22, Wildfire Mark is the stand-in.

Does Hsin need Blooming Jadehaven? Yes, if you can get it: it gives her about 27% more damage than her #2 pick, Lethean Elegy, the biggest #1-vs-#2 gap in this guide, but its banner closed with 3.7 Phase I on October 22, so use Lethean Elegy or Stringmaster in the meantime.
Does Suisui need Firstlight's Herald? No: most of its edge is the 77% Energy Regen substat, which Stellar Symphony matches, and with Variation or Call of the Abyss (51.8% Energy Regen) you can close the gap with Energy Regen substats on her Echoes.

Does Lucy need Spectral Trigger? It's her best weapon by about 13% over Lux & Umbra, but because it was collab-only, Lux & Umbra (or the 4★ Solar Flame) is the realistic target if you don't already own it.
Weapon Banner Pity Explained
Limited weapons come from the Featured Weapon Convene. The ten standard 5★ weapons (the five originals plus the five Synth Armament weapons added in 3.0) come from the Standard Weapon Convene.

Worst case for a limited weapon: 80 Forging Tides, or 12,800 Astrite. Free Astrite from redeem codes chips away at that, especially the preview-livestream codes each new version brings, so check our Wuthering Waves codes list before you spend.
Shared pity in practice: pity carries across featured weapon banners, including ones running at the same time and future ones, so you can build pity on one and switch. The 5★ you hit is always the featured weapon of the banner you're pulling on at that moment.
Soft pity isn't official: community tracker data shows 5★ odds climbing sharply from about pull 66.
Summary
This guide ranked 124 Wuthering Waves weapons across all five weapon types for Version 3.7, listed the best weapon and fallbacks for every character with damage values, and explained how weapon banner pity works.
The takeaway is simple: pull for a signature only when it clearly beats what you already own, and let a standard 5★ or a strong 4★ cover everyone else.
When a weapon does earn your pulls, make them cheaper: GamsGo’s Wuthering Waves top-up offers Lunite packs and the Lunite Subscription below the in-game price, so you reach pity for less.
Emerald of Genesis. In our Patch 3.7 data it is a top-3 weapon for 8 of 17 Sword users, more than any other standard 5★, and you can target it on the Standard Weapon Convene with a guarantee within 80 pulls. Pistol mains should take Static Mist or Phasic Homogenizer instead.
What Are the Top 10 Weapons?
Ranked by how many characters list them in their top 3: Red Spring (13), Blazing Brilliance (10), Stringmaster (9), Emerald of Genesis, Ages of Harvest, Verity’s Handle, Blazing Justice (8 each), Verdant Summit, Whispers of Sirens (6), with The Last Dance and Stellar Symphony tied 10th (5).
What Are the Different Tier Lists for Weapons in Wuthering Waves?
Weapons are ranked within their own type, so there are five lists: Sword, Broadblade, Gauntlets, Rectifier and Pistols. Each uses five tiers: SS (top-3 pick for a third or more of that type’s users), S (other 5★s plus the best 4★), A (solid 4★s), B (weaker 4★s and 3★s) and C (1–2★).
What Are the Best 5-Star Weapons in Wuthering Waves?
By type, Red Spring (Sword), Ages of Harvest (Broadblade), Verity’s Handle (Gauntlets), Stringmaster (Rectifier) and The Last Dance (Pistols) suit the most characters. The biggest single upgrade is Blooming Jadehaven: 153.2% of standard 5★ damage on Hsin (Prydwen, Patch 3.7).
GamsGo is a trustworthy game top-up and subscription platform where you can get the latest deals on various popular games. This article ranks every weapon in “Wuthering Waves” 3.7 and lists the best weapon for each character, helping you choose which weapons to pull for and get the most out of every Resonator.
