How to Redeem Rocket League Codes

Step 1️⃣: Launch Rocket League on your preferred platform (PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch).

Redeem Rocket League Codes step 1

Step 2️⃣: From the main menu, navigate to Settings.

Redeem Rocket League Codes step 2

Step 3️⃣: Scroll to the far right tab labeled Extras and selectRedeem Code”.

Redeem Rocket League Codes step 3

Step 4️⃣: Type or paste in your active code (like "popcorn") exactly as it appears, and click OK. Your rewards will immediately be added to your Garage inventory!

All Active Rocket League Creator Codes

Creator Codes work completely differently from Item Codes and Redeem Codes. They don't give you any direct rewards like free Credits, cars, or decals. Instead, when you enter a Creator Code in the in-game Item Shop, a portion of every in-game purchase you make goes directly to that content creator — at no extra cost to you.

Think of it as a way to support the streamers, YouTubers, and community figures who create the advanced-mechanic guides, highlight reels, and entertainment content that makes the Rocket League community thrive.

Keep in mind that entering a new code will instantly replace your current one, since you can only support one creator at a time. Unlike Brawl Stars, there is one critical difference with Epic Games' Creator Codes: they expire every 14 days. If you want to keep supporting your favorite creator long-term, you'll need to re-enter their code in the Item Shop every two weeks.

How to Enter a Creator Code

  1. Launch Rocket League and open the Item Shop from the main menu.
  2. In the top-right corner of the Item Shop screen, click Support a Creator.
  3. Type in the creator's code exactly as shown above and click Accept.
  4. Done! Any Credits you spend from this point forward will contribute a share of revenue to that creator — at no extra cost to you.

What Can You Do with Rocket League Cosmetics?

Once you redeem a code, the items go straight to your Garage. Here is how you can use them:

Customize Your Battle-Car

Head to your Garage and click "Customize Car." Here, you can equip the Decals, Wheels, or Toppers you just unlocked to match your team colors or create a completely unique preset. With thousands of combinations, standing out in the winner's circle has never been easier.

Update Your Player Banner and Title

Codes like "couchpotato" give you unique Player Titles and Banners. You can equip these in your Profile settings so other players see them whenever a goal is scored or when viewing the scoreboard.

Why Isn't My Rocket League Code Working?

If your code doesn't work, check the following possible reasons:

The most common reason is that the code has already expired. Many promo codes are tied to specific events (like a WWE crossover or a weekend tournament) and expire shortly after. In addition, please also check the following:

  • Spelling Errors: Make sure you typed the code exactly as shown, without any extra spaces at the beginning or end.
  • Already redeemed: Each code can only be claimed once per account. If you've already used a code in the past, attempting to redeem it again will return an error.

FAQ about Rocket League Codes

How to Get Free Credits in Rocket League?

Currently, there is no legitimate way to earn free Credits solely through gameplay without the premium Rocket Pass. By purchasing the Rocket Pass for 1,000 Credits and leveling up, you can earn up to 1,000 Credits back. Never trust websites claiming to generate free Credits—these are scams. For legitimate, discounted gaming purchases, check out GamsGo.

Are There New Redeem Codes in Rocket League?

Yes, though they are rare. Psyonix occasionally releases redeem codes during major RLCS events or special crossovers. The permanent code "popcorn" is still available for new players. Because temporary codes usually expire quickly, it's a good idea to bookmark this page.

What is the Best Car in Rocket League?

While all cars have identical speed and boost capabilities, their "hitboxes" differ. The community heavily favors the Octane, Fennec, and Dominus. The Octane and Fennec share the same versatile hitbox, making them perfect for dribbling and precise aerials, while the Dominus is fantastic for powerful flicks and aerial reads.

Can I Trade Items with Other Players?

No. Player-to-player trading was officially removed from Rocket League on December 5, 2023. You can now only acquire items via the Item Shop, Blueprints, the Rocket Pass, Trade-Ins, and Redeem Codes.

In addition, GamsGo also publishes redeem code guides for many popular games, helping players find active codes, claim free rewards, and stay updated on the latest events.
