Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.3 "Journey to the Sky" launches on October 21, 2026, bringing two brand-new S-Rank Agents — the Fire Anomaly specialist Phoenix and the Wind Attack Agent Severian — alongside reruns for Velina and Norma. It is also a Halloween-themed patch, packed with limited-time events that hand out plenty of free Polychromes.

If you're deciding whether to pull for Phoenix right away or save for Severian in Phase 2 — or you just want to know the exact ZZZ 3.3 pull count — this breakdown covers every source. In Version 3.3, F2P players can collect roughly 13,150 Polychromes and 21 Encrypted Master Tapes, which works out to about 103 limited pulls.

If you want both new Agents, or plan to grab a signature W-Engine too, you'll need far more than 103 pulls. And if your stash is running low, GamsGo offers up to 25% off Zenless Zone Zero top up, helping you secure your favorite Agent for less.

Pity Counter ZZZ: How Many Pulls Do You Need for Phoenix or Severian?

Before planning your pulls, let's quickly review how the Signal Search system works in Zenless Zone Zero.

F2P players can expect about 103 limited pulls during Version 3.3. The base chance of getting an S-Rank Agent on any single pull is 0.6%. If you keep pulling without one, the game guarantees an S-Rank at 90 pulls (hard pity), and your pity counter carries over between Exclusive Channels.

Whether that S-Rank is the featured Agent depends on the 50/50 system. Your first S-Rank has a 50% chance of being the rate-up Agent (Phoenix in Phase 1, Severian in Phase 2). If you lose the 50/50, your next S-Rank on the Exclusive Channel is guaranteed to be the featured Agent.

Use the table below to estimate how many Zenless Zone Zero pulls you need in each scenario:

ScenarioPulls NeededPolychromes
Win 50/50 at soft pity~74 pulls~11,840
Win 50/50 at hard pity90 pulls14,400
Lose 50/50, win next at soft pity~164 pulls~26,240
Lose 50/50, worst-case hard pity guarantee180 pulls28,800

Can F2P Players Get Phoenix or Severian with Free Polychromes?

Yes — Version 3.3 is one of the friendlier patches for F2P players.

With about 103 limited pulls, F2P players can reach the 90-pull hard pity even starting from zero, so you're guaranteed at least one S-Rank Agent this version. If you win the 50/50, that S-Rank will be Phoenix or Severian, depending on which phase you pull in. Soft pity usually kicks in around pull 74, so many players will land an S-Rank even earlier.

The catch is that one 50/50 loss can push you toward the 180-pull guarantee, and 103 pulls won't cover both new Agents. If you'd rather skip the grind entirely, browsing ZZZ accounts that already have your favorite Agents is another option worth considering.

How Much Does It Cost to Guarantee Phoenix or Severian?

If you're willing to spend, here's what it actually costs to close the gap and guarantee an Agent in Version 3.3.

Soft pity starts around pull 74. Hard pity (guaranteed S-Rank) = pull 90. The W-Engine Channel hits hard pity at pull 80 with a 75% chance for the featured W-Engine.

Cost to Guarantee Phoenix or Severian (180 pulls = 28,800 Polychromes)

F2P players already have the equivalent of ~16,510 Polychromes (13,150 Polychromes + 21 Encrypted Master Tapes), so the gap is roughly 12,290 Polychromes ≈ 12,290 Monochrome needed. Monochrome converts 1:1 into Polychromes.

The table below summarizes how much Monochrome you need to top up for each scenario, and how much it costs in-game versus through GamsGo:

ScenarioMonochrome NeededIn-Game CostGamsGo CostYou Save
Hard Pity (90 pulls)0$0$0Covered by F2P
Lose 50/50, win at soft pity (164 pulls)9,730$123.93$110.67$13.26
Full Guarantee (180 pulls)12,290$154.97$138.39$16.58
Guaranteed Agent + Signature W-Engine (260 pulls)25,090$313.87$280.29$33.58

As you can see, guaranteeing both the Agent and their signature W-Engine through the in-game store can cost over $300. For players who'd rather start fresh with a stacked roster instead of chasing pity, it can be cheaper to buy ZZZ account options that already own the Agents you want.

On top of that, if you're also running Inter-Knot Membership or the New Eridu City Fund, here's what the full 3.3 patch (6 weeks) will cost you:

Player TypeInter-Knot MembershipNew Eridu City FundTotal Cost
Inter-Knot Membership Only$4.99 × 2 = $9.98—$9.98
Membership + Premium Plan$9.98$9.99$19.97

By topping up through GamsGo instead of the in-game store, you can bring that cost down significantly, with discounts of up to 25% off. The more you top up, the better the deal.

Get More ZZZ Pulls for Less with GamsGo

For F2P players, ZZZ 3.3 offers roughly 103 limited pulls — enough to hit hard pity once. Add Inter-Knot Membership and that number climbs to around 126. That said, if you want both Phoenix and Severian, or plan to grab a signature W-Engine, the free Polychromes won't stretch far enough. One lost 50/50 can easily mean another $100+ in Monochrome to stay on track.

If you've already claimed every free Polychrome this patch has to offer and you're still a few pulls short, don't let a single 50/50 loss derail your 3.3 plans. A Zenless Zone Zero recharge through GamsGo lets you refill your Monochrome at a better price — up to 25% off — so securing your next Agent doesn't have to hurt your wallet as much.

FAQs

How Many Pulls Can F2P Players Get in ZZZ 3.3?

F2P players can collect approximately 13,150 Polychromes in Zenless Zone Zero 3.3 "Journey to the Sky," plus 21 Encrypted Master Tapes and 25 Master Tapes — about 103 limited Exclusive Channel pulls in total. That's enough to reach the 90-pull hard pity once, even starting from zero.

When Does Zenless Zone Zero 3.3 End?

ZZZ 3.3 runs from October 21 to December 1, 2026, lasting about six weeks. Phase 1 (Phoenix and Velina) ends on November 11, and Phase 2 (Severian and Norma) runs until December 1. Complete all limited-time events before the version ends to claim every free Polychrome.

What Are the ZZZ 3.3 Rewards from Limited-Time Events?

The main ZZZ 3.3 events include Spooky Funhouse Tales (900 Polychromes), Cyber Miracle Healer, on Duty! (300), Trails of the Hobbling Crow (300), Repair! Drifting Art (300), Annihilation Simulacrum (600) and Enigma of the Labyrinth: Spooky Trial (1,250). The new login event adds another 10 Encrypted Master Tapes.

Should I Pull for Phoenix or Save for Severian?

It depends on your team. Phoenix is a Fire Anomaly Agent, so she suits Anomaly teams, while Severian is a Wind Attack DPS. Since F2P players get only about 103 pulls this version, most will only be able to guarantee one of them unless they win the 50/50 early. Your pity carries over between the two phases, so pulling early on Phoenix won't waste progress toward Severian.

How Many Pulls Are 10,000 Polychromes?

10,000 Polychromes equals 62.5 pulls. Since each Encrypted Master Tape costs 160 Polychromes, divide 10,000 by 160. Combined with some existing pity, that can realistically land an S-Rank Agent around soft pity.

Is the ZZZ 50/50 Really 50/50?

Yes. On the limited Exclusive Channel, your first S-Rank Agent has a 50% chance of being the featured Agent. If you lose, your next S-Rank is guaranteed to be the featured one. The W-Engine Channel is more generous, with a 75% chance for the featured W-Engine and hard pity at 80 pulls.
