Arknights: Endfield Version 1.4 "Homecoming" is officially live on July 16, 2026 (UTC+8), headlined by two brand-new 6-star Operators: Arcane (Li Zhiyan), a Nature Caster, and Liino, an Electric Supporter.
This patch is stacked. On top of the two banners, Version 1.4 brings five new weapons, two gear sets, a new Wuling main mission, two new maps, a fresh boss, a permanent game mode, and the biggest AIC update so far. Here is my full, confirmed breakdown.
If you are pulling for Arcane or Liino and want more Oroberyl ready before maintenance ends, you can prepare early with an Arknights: Endfield top-up at a lower price.

Arknights Endfield 1.4 Weapon Banners
Both signature weapons are confirmed. Arcane pairs with the Arts Unit Type 42: Solemn Phalanx in the Phase 1 weapon banner, and Liino pairs with the Polearm Bedazzling Night Debut in Phase 2.
| Weapon Banner | Featured Weapon | Type | Dates |
| Military Grade Issue (Phase 1) | ![]() Type 42: Solemn Phalanx | Arts Unit | Jul. 16 – TBD |
| Bedazzled Issue (Phase 2) | ![]() Bedazzling Night Debut | Polearm | Aug. 9 – TBD |
Both Issues open with the version and run until 3 Chartered Headhunting banners have passed (counted from each phase's character banner). The full 6-star weapon pools are:
- Military Grade Issue (Phase 1): Type 42: Solemn Phalanx (Arts Unit, Rate-Up), Former Finery (Greatsword), Wedge (Handcannon), Eminent Repute (Sword), JET (Polearm), Detonation Unit (Arts Unit), Oblivion (Arts Unit).
- Bedazzled Issue (Phase 2): Bedazzling Night Debut (Polearm, Rate-Up), Sundered Prince (Greatsword), Clannibal (Handcannon), Valiant (Polearm), JET (Polearm), Detonation Unit (Arts Unit), Thermite Cutter (Sword).
Arknights Endfield 1.4 New Characters
Version 1.4 adds two new 6-star Operators. Here are the confirmed stats before I break each one down.
| Operator | Rarity | Element | Class |
| 6★ | Nature | Caster | |
| 6★ | Electric | Supporter |
Arcane Character Breakdown

Li Zhiyan, codename Arcane, is the Phase 1 headliner. Officially, she is a Nature-element Caster — not the Sword DPS earlier leaks assumed — which reframes her as a ranged Arts damage dealer rather than a melee bruiser.
| Real Name | Li Zhiyan |
| Codename | Arcane |
| Race | Liberi |
| Affiliation | Hongshan / Yinglung Special Task Force (YSTF) |
| Element | Nature |
| Class | Caster |
Arcane already appears in Chapter II as a supporting character, so she launches with far more story weight than most debut Operators. She joined YSTF as a reservist alongside Chen Qianyu and rose to become the task force's youngest team leader.
Assigned to the North Wuling Exclusion Zone, she is also the youngest serving major in Wuling. In Chapter II, when Ardashir attacks the Marker Stone, Arcane seals both Ardashir and herself inside the Ink Scroll to protect the Endmin.
The Feranmut Proxy later rescues her, but she stays unconscious with her Arts fully drained — a plot thread that clearly carries into the 1.4 main mission. As a Nature Caster, expect ranged Arts pressure with likely Corrosion or status synergy rather than short melee bursts.
Liino Character Breakdown

Liino is the confirmed identity behind the long-teased "idol" character, and she headlines Phase 2 as an Electric-element Supporter. Her stage design, performance pose, and the microphone-themed ornamentals all match her showmanship identity.
| Name | Liino |
| Element | Electric |
| Class | Supporter |
| Signature Weapon | Bedazzling Night Debut (Polearm) |
| Banner | Good Morning From Your Dawnstar (Phase 2) |
As a Supporter, Liino is built to lift the whole team rather than top the damage charts. Electric teams in Endfield lean hard on reaction pressure and rotation speed, so a dedicated buffer or off-field support slots in almost anywhere.
That flexibility makes Liino a more future-proof pull than a narrow single-target DPS. If your account is short on team-wide support, she is the higher-value long-term investment of the two 1.4 headliners.
Arknights Endfield 1.4 New Weapons
Five new 6-star weapons arrive in Version 1.4 across banners, the Protocol Pass, and a free login reward.
| Weapon | Type | How to Get |
![]() Type 42: Solemn Phalanx | Arts Unit | Phase 1 weapon banner (Military Grade Issue) |
![]() Bedazzling Night Debut | Polearm | Phase 2 weapon banner (Bedazzled Issue) |
![]() Junction Point | Arts Unit | Protocol Pass: Blighted Sea |
![]() Golden Age | Polearm | Protocol Pass: Blighted Sea |
![]() Farsight | Sword | Free from Tribute of Companionship login |
Farsight is the standout value pick — a free 6-star Sword handed out through the login campaign. Before committing pulls to a signature weapon, compare kits in my Endfield weapon tier list.
Arknights Endfield 1.4 New Gear Sets
Version 1.4 adds two new gear sets, both farmable in the Wuling region, along with extra pieces for sets you may already be running. If you are building toward Arcane or Liino, these are worth planning your Wuling farming routes around.

The AIC Fieldwork Gear Pack and Rift Trekker Gear Pack are both obtained in Wuling. On top of these, Version 1.4 releases additional pieces for the existing Eternal Xiranite, Hot Work, and LYNX sets, giving established accounts more ways to complete their preferred builds.

Arknights Endfield 1.4 Missions
Version 1.4 pushes the Wuling storyline forward with a new main mission and a companion quest for Liino, both continuing the Chapter II arc that Arcane is tied to.

The new Wuling main mission, Stubbornly Lingers the Setting Sun, is the seventh process of Chapter II. Alongside it, Liino's Operator mission Like a Star Streaking Through the Boundaries fleshes out her backstory ahead of her Phase 2 banner.
Version 1.4 also adds a permanent Main Mission Early Unlock: Wuling activity. Once you finish Chapter I Process II (Remediation Progress), you can accept Chapter II Process I (Arrival at Wuling) early from the Event Center and head to Wuling ahead of schedule. Chapter I progress is unaffected, and missions from different chapters can be active at the same time.
Arknights Endfield 1.4 New Maps
Two new Wuling maps open in Version 1.4, each tied to the main mission and the new characters. Expect fresh traversal and combat mechanics as you push deeper into the region.
Arknights Endfield Yinglung Pass
Yinglung Pass is the first area you reach in Version 1.4, located in Wuling. You cross it to advance the new main mission, and it is also where the Feranmut Proxy, Si, makes her first story appearance.

Arknights Endfield North Wuling Exclusion Zone
The North Wuling Exclusion Zone is the second new area, where Arcane joins the Endfield Crisis Team. The livestream confirmed this zone introduces new map gameplay and mechanics, so it is more than a reskinned biome.

Arknights Endfield 1.4 New Enemies and Boss
The new maps come with a new enemy type and a demanding boss fight, so tune your teams before pushing the main mission.

Blightshades are the new enemies arriving with the maps, described as phantoms of fallen Yinglung Special Task Force soldiers. The Version 1.4 boss, Alleikhreos, Chiliarch, is an enormous stony foe who attacks with a bow, sword, and lance, and cannot be countered by conventional means.
Arknights Endfield 1.4 AIC Update

Version 1.4 delivers the biggest AIC update yet. Gas products are introduced to the AIC alongside new natural resources to obtain and new facilities to process them. If you run an optimized base, the updated Wuling AIC plan is worth rebuilding around these additions.
Arknights Endfield 1.4 Events and Game Modes
A full slate of events runs through Version 1.4, including two sign-in campaigns that hand out free pulls for Arcane and Liino. Here is the schedule at a glance.
| Event | Time (Server Time) | Key Rewards |

| The Rooted Realm | Aug. 9, 12:00 – before maintenance | Oroberyl x1600, Mark of Perseverance |
Prioritize the two sign-in events: Gaze North to the Rift gives extra Arcane pulls from July 16, and Bedazzling Dawnstar gives extra Liino pulls from August 9. The previews for each event are below.

The headline new mode is Echoes of War, a permanent seasonal challenge mode live from July 16. You clear timed stages with special mechanics to earn stars and season titles, with a first Normal clear granting Oroberyl and higher difficulties adding Mark of Perseverance and Advanced Cognitive Carrier.
Version 1.4 runs two Echoes of War seasons. Season of Recalling is live from the update until August 9 at 11:59, with 6 stages across 3 cycles and Oroberyl x600 for clearing all on Normal. Season of Delirating then runs from August 9 at 12:00 to end-of-version maintenance, adding 2 new stages across 3 cycles for Oroberyl x200 on full Normal clear.

Endgame content also expands with two updated stages. The Umbral Monument mode adds the Howlers of the Crag series (4 stages) on August 6 at 12:00, rewarding Mark of Perseverance, Advanced Cognitive Carrier, Arms INSP Set, and Protohedron. Alongside it, the limited Monumental Etching: Beastly Howl event runs August 6 12:00 to August 20 04:00 for Oroberyl x1200 and an Advanced Progression Selection Crate I.
The Delver of the Cryptic mode then introduces the Artful Realm of Six Cardinals spatial set on August 19 at 12:00, opening 3 Protocol Spaces at first and 3 more on August 26 at 04:00. Completing the set challenges grants Oroberyl x1200 and Mark of Perseverance.

Arknights Endfield 1.4 Ornamentals, Features and Optimizations

Five new ornamentals join Version 1.4: Howlerbeast Playground, Ribbon Voice Microphone, Idol Pose Ad Stand, Morning Star Figurine, and Shockingly Delish! You can place them around Talos-II and interact with them once they are set down.
Version 1.4 also adds several quality-of-life features, previewed below.

- Name Changing: Endmins can now change their name once every six months via the ID Info Update Pack.
- Birthday Feature: receive a special in-game blessing once a year.
- Phonograph and Vinyls: listen to game OSTs in the reception room.
- Early Unlock: new Endmins can unlock Wuling early through this event.
Optimizations in Version 1.4 include camera pose customization, a dedicated ornamental page that frees backpack and depot space, in-story proper-noun definitions highlighted in yellow, a top-view toggle for selecting overlapping targets like pipes and belts, facility-mode toggling during placement for multi-mode units, and auto-maintenance on shared ziplines.
On the combat side, Version 1.4 adds teammate skill visual-effect settings so you can adjust the quality and opacity of allies' skill effects, plus more detailed enemy targeting controls that separately tune Skill Attack Targeting Priority, Active Target Lock-on, and Assisted Target Selection.
Arknights Endfield 1.4 Giveaways and Codes

Two guaranteed freebies are worth grabbing right away. The 1.4 Livestream Code gives a Camera Sticker and 71,600x T-Creds, and the Companionship Celebration login campaign runs from July 10 (8:40 PM UTC+8) to July 24, 2026, granting 2,000x Oroberyl, 12,000x T-Creds, 10x Elementary Cognitive Carrier, 10x Arms INSP Kit, 10x Protohedron, and 2x Mark of Perseverance.
For the working livestream code and every future promo code as it drops, check my Arknights: Endfield codes and redeem guide, updated each patch.
Arknights Endfield 1.4 Acquisition Center Update
The Protocol Pass: Blighted Sea is available throughout the Homecoming version. Activating it unlocks the Basic Supply tier by default, and leveling it up earns Basic HH Permit, Oroberyl, Exchange Crate-o-Surprise, and progression materials — this is also where the new weapons Junction Point and Golden Age come from.
The Acquisition Center's Bundles section adds several Version 1.4 packs: the Homecoming Curios Collection Pack, Companionship Celebration Bundle, ID Info Update Pack, Protocol Flow Bundle, Rift Vigile HH Bundle, and Dawnstar HH Bundle. The purchase limit for the Value Arsenal Ticket Pack has also been reset.
Arknights Endfield Banner Gacha Rates
Before pulling on either Version 1.4 banner, plan your Oroberyl around the current rates and pity rules.
| Rarity | Pull Rate |
| 6★ | Base 0.80% · Guaranteed 6★ at 80 pulls · Guaranteed rate-up at 120 pulls |
| 5★ | Base 8.00% · Guaranteed at 10 pulls |
| 4★ | Base 91.20% |
After 65 pulls, every additional pull raises the 6★ chance by 5%. The 120-pull featured guarantee triggers only once per banner and resets when that banner ends. One pull costs 500 Oroberyl.
Arcane vs Liino: Which Version 1.4 Banner to Pull
With two new 6-stars back-to-back, most players can only fully commit to one. Here is how I'd weigh them.
| Pull Arcane (Phase 1) | Pull Liino (Phase 2) |
| Best if you need ranged Nature Arts damage and want a story-central DPS tied to the Wuling arc. | Best if your teams lack a team-wide buffer; an Electric Supporter is more future-proof across compositions. |
If your roster is thin, pull for the role you lack most rather than raw power. Cross-check your gaps with my Arknights Endfield characters tier list before spending.
Upcoming Arknights Endfield Characters After Version 1.4
The Version 1.4 livestream also previewed three characters lined up for future versions. None are pullable yet, but they are worth watching if you plan your long-term Oroberyl budget.
Si the Feranmut Proxy

Si the Feranmut Proxy was first teased in the 1.2 livestream and appeared again in the Future Version Preview of the 1.4 livestream. She makes her first story appearance in Version 1.4 and is confirmed as an upcoming Operator, with her banner most likely landing in Version 1.5.
Hongshan Imperial Guard

An unnamed Hongshan Imperial Guard was revealed as an upcoming character in the Version 1.4 livestream. Described as calm and resolute, he has no confirmed kit details yet, though the stream hints he was once driven into utter despair — a backstory setup for a later release.
Sarkaz Archer

An unknown Sarkaz Archer, who bears a striking resemblance to Typhon, was shown in the Future Version Preview. The livestream describes her as wandering through dreams and collecting stories from around the world, and implies she encounters the Endministrator later in the story.
Final Thoughts on Arknights Endfield 1.4
Version 1.4 is a heavyweight patch. Arcane pushes the Wuling and YSTF storyline forward as a Nature Caster, while Liino finally lands the idol-themed Electric Supporter fans have wanted, and the free Farsight sweetens the whole update.
With two banners three weeks apart, plan your Oroberyl early. If you want both phases comfortably, aim for roughly 240 pulls; 120 covers one guaranteed featured Operator. Save up to 30% on Arknights: Endfield top-ups to stretch your budget further.
