Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium (GFL2) has come a long way from its launch roster. Phase teams, Expansion Keys, tile fusions, Support Attack chains, and high-score modes mean a good squad is no longer just four strong Dolls dropped onto one map. These days the Global community argues as much about investment breakpoints and Gunsmoke Frontline rotations as it does about who sits at the top of a GFL2 tier list.

The roster shifted again on October 29, 2026, when a double banner brought two new Elite Dolls to Global at once: Welrod and Faelynn. The same patch opened two story events, Themis’ Game and Dreambound Neverland, and gave Phaetusa a Neural Helix expansion alongside her rate-up. You can read the full lineup in the official October 29 update overview.

This GFL2 character tier list ranks the current Global roster from T0 to T3, then explains the thinking behind each placement. It also covers the best DPS and support Dolls, the Phase teams people actually run, useful V0–V6 breakpoints, where Welrod and Mityl really land on an account, and how to read a tier list for your own roster.

Pull planning matters because one limited Doll can cost up to 160 pulls if your first Elite result misses the featured target. If you’ve already locked in a banner and want extra Credit Tokens, the GFL2 top-up options on GamsGo are one route.

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Tier List

Each Doll sits at a practical breakpoint. Early-impact V1 and V2 supports get credit for their low entry cost, while carries that only shine at V6 are judged with that full bill in mind.

Faelynn debuts in T0.5 as GFL2’s newest Corrosion Sentinel DPS, while Welrod sits in T2 as a high-pressure specialist — strong at soaking damage, weak in short races. Koleda stays off the list; she wasn’t on Global at the October 29 cutoff.

How We Ranked Every GFL2 Doll

Global Version and Investment Assumptions

Quick vocabulary first, so nothing below reads like code. V0 is the base copy of a Doll. V1–V6 are Fortification levels, raised with duplicate copies (dupes). R1 means one copy of her signature weapon. This list rewards cheap, early breakpoints: Springfield reaching her core Hydro package around V1R1 is far friendlier to an account than a carry who only delivers at V6R1.

The ranking accounts for the Keys and Neural Helix expansions already live on Global. Every placement comes from the kits, teammates, and modes you can actually play right now, not from content that hasn’t arrived yet.

Bossing, Mobbing, Stability Damage, Mobility, and Sustain

Different modes reward different things. Gunsmoke Frontline is about boss damage. Multi-wave maps reward AoE, spawn control, and mobility. High-pressure stages reward healing, shields, cleanse, and Stability recovery. A flexible Doll who fits several Phase teams also scores higher than one locked to a single comp.

What Each Tier Means

A brand-new Commander and a maxed account will read the same row differently. Use this key to read the Global GFL2 tier list before you compare individual Dolls or spend limited resources.

Once your first squad is stable, team synergy and breakpoint cost matter more than a single-row tier gap. The next section turns these broad rankings into specific build targets.

Best GFL2 Dolls by Role

A name on a list doesn’t answer the two questions you actually have: where does this Doll earn a slot, and how far should I invest? This shortlist ties the best characters on Global to real account goals.

Treat these breakpoints as planning targets, not a shopping list. Before you spend, it helps to see why the names at the top rank where they do — the next section breaks down the core carries and supports one at a time.

Why the Top GFL2 Characters Rank So Highly

The role table showed where these Dolls slot in; this section explains the thinking behind the names at the very top. These four anchor the most teams, so it’s worth seeing how their kits actually work before you decide who gets your materials first.

🔸OTs-14: The Resonance Carry That Scales With Her Team

GFL2 OTs-14

OTs-14 is a Resonance Sentinel on the SST-05A2-X frame, rebuilt from Groza’s salvaged body and attached to Elmo’s third-gen echelon. She opens every fight in Cover Order through Cellular Reconfiguration, and Perfect Adaptation flips her between Cover and Demolition Order up to three times a turn — each swap hands her an Extra Command, so switching stance doesn’t cost her the turn.

Underneath sits a damage-banking engine. Her Resonance damage adapts to whichever element leads her team. In Cover Order she feeds allies crit damage (15% of her own at V1) while Command Mode records their output; Demolition Order instead rolls part of their attack into hers. Her Ultimate turns the banked total into Overload Pulse, which Critical Blast spends as fixed damage that bypasses defense. V0 runs the whole loop; V6 is the score-chasing ceiling.

🔹Klukai: Corrosion’s Board-Clearing Centerpiece

Klukai carries the HK416 platform for H.I.D.E. 404, and her game plan is pure attrition. Her main attack drops AoE Corrosion for 90% of attack in a three-tile radius and plants Toxic Infiltration, a debuff that ticks for 12% of attack each turn and, when a target dies, re-applies itself to everything within three tiles for a 60%-of-attack burst.

The snowball is Corrosive Infusion. Every 3 Confectance Index (her skill energy) she banks adds a stack to infected enemies and shaves a turn off her Ultimate, Devastating Drift. V1 lets her own attacks and any ally’s Corrosion spread extra stacks; V3 is the real boss key — it gives Drift its full 50% boss bonus, a second cast on hit, and a pre-attack Defense Down II that strips 30% of the target’s defense.

🔸Voymastina: Speed, Opening Pressure, and Physical Utility

GFL2 Voymastina

Voymastina is Task Force DEFY’s CSD-09B4M Doll on the AK-15, and she fights without cover on purpose. She takes 30% less damage flat, and a huge 80% less while her Stability bar holds — so cracking her Stability is the only reliable way to hurt her — and every Physical hit she lands ignores half the target’s defense.

Her value shows up first and fast. At battle start she strikes the nearest five enemies for 100% of attack plus Stability damage, immune to harm while it resolves, then chains a Support Attack every time an ally lands a hit. V1 pushes that opener to 180% of attack; V3 widens her reach enough to sweep trash in a single turn. Gunsmoke still prefers dedicated boss carries, and to hit her ceiling she wants defense penetration stacked from the rest of the team.

🔹Springfield: The Support That Makes Hydro Feel Complete

Springfield runs Zucchero Café with the M1903, an SSD-62D Support built around reactive sustain. Her standout trick is Overflowing Care: any healing beyond an ally’s full bar converts into a Hydro damage bonus, so topping off a healthy teammate is never wasted. Her opening attack also hits for 130% of attack and leaves Congestion, softening the target for Hydro and Stability damage.

Her Ultimate summons Taryz onto an enemy; whenever that enemy hits an ally, the bird counters for Hydro worth 20% of Springfield’s Max HP and heals the ally the same amount, and the cast cleanses debuffs and strips Taunt and Fear from the team. Her signature, Radiance, adds 5% team Hydro and up to 40% Max HP, which in turn feeds those HP-scaled heals. V1 is the key step; V3 adds Taryz’s Action Support and 40% more out-of-turn Hydro for the team.

Best GFL2 Teams in the Current Meta

The strongest GFL2 team comps start from one interaction every slot feeds. Build that engine first, then swap the last slot to fit the map instead of rebuilding the whole squad.

The Corrosion row shows the shift from the October 29 patch. Faelynn slots in as a repeat-attack DPS and Welrod as the tank, around the same Klukai, Lind, and Basti support shell you were already running.

Save each Phase core as a Formation, then rotate the open slot for enemy weaknesses, map pressure, or survival. With the teams mapped out, the next step is deciding which Dolls deserve materials first.

Which Dolls Should You Build First?

Best Priorities for New Players

Keep it simple: one reliable damage dealer, one sustain unit, and two teammates who trigger that carry’s mechanics. Qiongjiu and Tololo are solid standard-pool starting points, and Suomi makes early progression more forgiving. Pour your limited upgrade materials into that first working squad.

Best Choices for F2P and Low-Spend Accounts

For F2P and low-spend accounts, chase complete V0 kits and cheap support breakpoints. Mityl works at V0, Basti helps Corrosion at V0, Alva starts supporting Freeze at V0R1, and Jiangyu, Yoohee, or Lenna give you most of their value before V3. One coherent team at moderate investment clears more than five half-built mono-Phase teams.

High-Investment Dolls Worth Extra Copies

A few Dolls do earn the extra copies. OTs-14 at V6 targets top-end boss scores, Klukai at V3 sharpens her boss and AoE rotations, and Voymastina at V3 or V6 speeds up routine clears. Match the spend to the result your account actually needs.

Where GFL2 Mityl Fits in the Current Meta

GFL2 Mityl

Those build priorities raise the two questions people ask most this patch — is Mityl worth it, and is Welrod? The next two sections take each in turn, starting with Mityl.

Mityl at a Glance Hydro Sentinel • P90 (SMG) user • Hologram summoner • fast tile applier • single-target specialist

Mityl is a Hydro Sentinel with a P90, and the whole kit runs on Holograms. Squirrel Hologram copies an ordinary enemy, but against a Doll, boss, or large unit it spawns a Self Hologram of Mityl and hands her an Extra Command. At the end of every allied turn, each Hologram fires Aligned Resonance — Hydro for 40% of attack plus Stability damage to enemies within five tiles — so she keeps adding hits without spending another Doll slot.

Those resonance hits want Tideway tiles — the Hydro tiles she keeps laying — because she and her Holograms hit harder while standing on them. Each Hydro hit also pushes her Theater Rank, which stacks crit and Hydro damage. She spreads tiles faster than older Hydro Dolls, and since the Chiral Redundancy update let different-element tiles stack, hers set up extra reactions and Stability pressure on top.

Is Mityl Worth Pulling?

Hydro accounts get the most out of Mityl. V0 already runs the full Hologram-and-resonance loop. V1 is the best early add: it strengthens Aligned Resonance, lowers the Confectance cost of ranking up, and layers Defense Down II onto her resonance hits.

Community plans often pair Mityl with Koleda, since Mityl supplies the Holograms and Hydro tiles that later engine wants. At the October 29 cutoff, Global players can judge her right now through Springfield and Liushih teams; Koleda is a future upgrade, not a requirement.

Where GFL2 Welrod Fits After the October 29 Update

GFL2 Welrod

If Mityl is the patch’s offensive question, Welrod is the defensive one. She plays nothing like a normal DPS, so she earns her own look.

Welrod at a Glance Corrosion Bulwark • HG user • damage absorption • Taunt and enemy control • high-pressure specialist

Welrod is a detective-themed Bulwark from H.I.D.E. 404 Team B, and she’s a real tank rather than a disguised attacker. Detective’s Immunity banks 70% of the damage she takes — 90% with the right Fixed Key — as a stored value, then spends it two ways. At the end of her turn, her passive deals AoE Corrosion worth 30% of that pool and re-applies Suspect; her Ultimate pulls enemies toward her and heals her for 20% of it.

Everything else stacks around staying alive. She runs 50% extra Max HP and skips cover entirely, Taunting every turn to drag hits onto herself. Her main attack then scales with that bulk — 1% more damage for each 1% of Max HP above her base, up to 60%. The trade-off is upkeep: Detective’s Immunity also ticks a little fixed damage back onto her each turn, which her self-healing and a Fixed Key smooth out.

That loop only pays off where fights last. Gunsmoke Frontline ends enemy turns too fast to feed her, so her home is Liminal Iteration’s higher floors and other high-damage stages. V0 covers the core; V1 raises her healing, damage reduction, and Corrosion bonus to 30%; V2 adds an extra Corrosion hit after an ally acts. Her T2 spot reflects that narrow job, and on the same banner Faelynn covers Corrosion DPS if you’d rather pull offense.

Where the Global GFL2 Meta Is Heading

Why Not Every Tier List Fits Your Account

Not every GFL2 tier list online is built for where your account actually is. Some assume V6 carries, fully built Keys, or a single optimized seven-turn Gunsmoke kill; others rank Dolls around teammates or stages that aren’t live yet. Read each placement against what you can pull and play today — especially supports whose best partner hasn’t arrived, or older Dolls still waiting on an Expansion Key.

Upcoming GFL2 Meta Shifts to Watch

Hydro is the clearest team to watch, since Mityl already builds the tile-and-summon half of its later engine. Corrosion just picked up two pieces at once: Faelynn as a repeat-attack DPS and Welrod as a genuine tank — though the Global endgame would need more survival-focused stages before that tank becomes a default pick.

Blade teams also gain value as more Dolls can trigger Sextans’s Support Attacks. Treat all of this as forward-looking team trends, not confirmed banner dates.

Should You Reroll in Girls’ Frontline 2?

Rerolling is rarely worth a long reset grind. The beginner banner caps at 50 discounted pulls and guarantees at least one Elite Doll inside them, and the permanent pool already holds Qiongjiu and Tololo, either of whom can carry your early game. Between limited-banner pity and a roster that keeps growing, keeping one account’s event rewards, Commander Level, and materials beats chasing a perfect opening.

If you want a simple GFL2 reroll tier list, aim for a self-sufficient damage dealer first. Qiongjiu gives you reliable Burn-flavored Support Attack damage, while Tololo brings Hydro damage and extra-action tempo. Both get you moving faster than Sabrina, Peritya, Mosin-Nagant, or Vepley.

Final Thoughts

Zoom out and this tier list is really a planning tool, not a shopping list. Tiers tell you how much a Doll can do; your account tells you how much it needs. The Commanders who climb fastest build one coherent Phase team, stop each Doll at its efficient breakpoint, and only chase V6 or a signature weapon when a specific mode demands it.

In practice, start with the mode your roster keeps failing. OTs-14 is the safest all-purpose endgame investment, Klukai is still Corrosion’s best board-clearer, and Springfield plus Mityl gives Hydro both sustain and boss pressure. From the October 29 patch, Welrod answers punishing survival checks and Faelynn fills the Corrosion DPS slot — so pull the one that matches your gap rather than both on reflex.

Everything here reflects the Global roster as it stands today, and a live game keeps moving: new Dolls, Keys, and endgame modes will nudge these placements over time. Use the tiers to narrow your shortlist, then let your own bottleneck make the final call. The best next build is simply the Doll who fixes what’s holding your account back right now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a V0 Limited Doll Better Than a V6 Standard Doll?

Role and synergy decide it. A V0 limited support can unlock a whole Phase team, while a V6 standard carry gives you higher personal output. Compare the open slot on your team against the breakpoint each one needs.

Do Signature Weapons Change the GFL2 Tier List?

They move specific placements when the weapon adds a team buff or fixes a rotation. Springfield’s Radiance and several R1 support weapons do more for an account than a signature that only pads personal damage. A strong alternative weapon usually keeps a Doll in the same practical tier.

Do I Need V6 OTs-14?

No. V0 already includes her Resonance engine, Command Mode, and Order switching. V6 is the score-chasing breakpoint for maximum Gunsmoke Frontline damage and fixed-damage scaling.

Is Suomi Still Worth Building?

Yes, for progression and comfort. Her shields, sustain, and Freeze utility steady a developing account; mature rosters tend to shift toward more specialized offensive supports over time.

Is Mityl Good Without Koleda?

Yes. Mityl supplies fast Hydro tiles, Hologram attacks, and boss damage alongside Springfield and your current Hydro DPS. Koleda only raises the team’s ceiling later; she isn’t a gate.

Is Welrod Worth Pulling in GFL2?

Pull her if your Corrosion roster needs a durable front line for Liminal Iteration climbs and other high-difficulty challenge stages. Skip her for pure Gunsmoke scores, where a DPS or offensive support adds more. V0 reaches her core defensive loop, so most players can leave the signature weapon and dupes alone.

Why Is Soppo Below Klukai and OTs-14?

Soppo is strong at V0 in Freeze and creates Burn/Freeze fusion interactions, but she leans heavily on Alva and the Freeze core. Klukai clears a wider range of maps, and OTs-14 fits into several non-Physical Phase teams.

Can Lower-Tier Dolls Clear the Story?

Yes. Groza, Nemesis, Colphne, and Krolik can clear the opening campaign when leveled and positioned well. T3 is about low long-term investment value, not whether a Doll works.

How Often Should a GFL2 Tier List Be Updated?

Whenever Global adds a Doll, an Expansion Key, a major combat system, or a new endgame rule set. A fresh banner alone doesn’t always reshuffle the meta; a Key that rewrites rotations, or a teammate who completes a Phase core, usually matters more.
