The latest new brawler in Brawl Stars is Vince, arriving with October's Brawl-O-Ween season. Like Cosmo, who arrived in September, he is a Mythic brawler. His unique playstyle involves turning Caterpillars on the map into Moths and collecting them.

New brawlers have been added at a pace of roughly one per month in 2026. The next new brawler is expected to be announced in a Brawl Talk anticipated for late October to early November. The unlock system also changed to Brawler Blast in September, so the way you use Credits has changed slightly, too.

This guide covers the latest brawler's abilities and unlock methods, the new brawlers added in 2026, and when the next brawler is expected to be announced.

Latest Brawl Stars Brawler: Vince (October 2026)

Vince is a new brawler announced in the late-August Brawl Talk. A barista working at a creepy café, he arrives in October as the featured brawler of the Brawl-O-Ween season.

Vince's Abilities: His Caterpillar and Moth Trait

Vince's core gameplay revolves around turning Caterpillars that appear on the map into Moths, collecting them, and using their numbers to strengthen his Super.

  • Trait: Caterpillars appear on the map. Hitting them with an attack or walking over them turns them into Moths and adds them to his collection. He can reportedly store up to 20 Moths and loses half his collection when defeated.
  • Main Attack (Espresso Shot): Throws a cup of coffee to attack. Deals bonus damage to enemies affected by his Super's debuff.
  • Super (Barista Barrage): An attack that applies a Caterpillar debuff to enemies and grows stronger in stages based on the number of Moths collected.

Collecting Moths makes Vince stronger, but he loses half of them when defeated. His playstyle will likely involve building up his collection without overextending, then using his Super to push back hard.

No Hypercharge has been announced for his launch. Ability names and stats are based on pre-release information and may change after the official release.

How to Unlock Vince in Brawl Stars

Vince is scheduled to arrive in October through Early Access. Reports from other regions suggest that his dedicated event will offer boxes with a low chance of unlocking him, with a guaranteed unlock after collecting a set number of boxes.

Even if you miss Early Access, Vince is expected to join Brawler Blast around early November when the season ends, becoming available for the Mythic unlock cost of 1,900 Credits. Saving Credits by the end of the season will let you get him right away.

September's New Brawl Stars Brawler: Cosmo

Cosmo is a Mythic brawler announced alongside Vince in the August Brawl Talk. A robot scientist at Starr Park's Observatory, he entered Early Access in September and became available through Brawler Blast on October 1.

  • Main Attack (Orbit): Fires 3 projectiles that orbit and spread apart as they travel. The farther they go, the larger they become and the more damage they deal. He has long range but a relatively slow reload.
  • Super (Gravitational Pull): Attaches a magnet to an enemy, causing teammates' projectiles to home toward that enemy for 6 seconds. Attacks from some melee brawlers are excluded.
  • Gadgets: Planetary Pushback knocks back nearby enemies. Telescope Trap reveals enemies in an area for 6 seconds and prevents them from dashing, jumping, or teleporting.
  • Star Powers: Precession increases orbit speed by 25%. Ammo Attractor reloads 2 ammo when his Super hits.

Cosmo is built for team fights, chipping away from range while using his Super to focus teammates' attacks. He shines in modes where you can coordinate attacks with allies rather than fight alone.

Mythic brawlers dominate the new releases in 2026, accounting for 7 of the 10 additions. This year's pattern has been to announce 2–3 brawlers together in Brawl Talk, then release one each month. When Will the Next Brawl Stars Brawler Be Announced? Brawl Talk Schedule

If this pattern holds, the next Brawl Talk is expected in late October to early November. The Brawl-O-Ween season is scheduled to end in early November, so new brawlers for November and beyond are likely to be announced as the next season begins.

The Brawl Stars World Finals 2026 will also take place at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on November 20–22. This major event in Japan is worth following, along with any in-game rewards and promotions.

How to Unlock New Brawl Stars Brawlers: Brawler Blast and Early Access

Since September 2026, brawlers, including new releases, have been unlocked through Brawler Blast, which replaced Starr Road. This shooting-gallery-style system lets you save Credits to unlock brawlers you do not own yet.

You can also see how Brawler Blast works in the introduction video on the official Brawl Stars YouTube channel.

  • Rarities unlock in a fixed order.
  • Eliminating brawler targets grants Gem Fragments, which can provide Power Level upgrades, Gadgets, Star Powers, Gears, and Hypercharges.
  • All players received 1,500 Credits when the new system launched.

Early Access and Brawler Blast Availability

Recent new brawlers typically start with an Early Access period, when they can be obtained through dedicated event boxes or shop packs, before joining Brawler Blast at the end of the season. Cosmo entered Early Access in September and became available through Brawler Blast on October 1. Vince is also expected to join in early November after his October Early Access period.

If you want to unlock a new brawler with Credits, the key is to save enough Credits for that rarity by the end of the season. Many recent new brawlers are Mythic, so 1,900 Credits is a useful target. You can also claim rewards such as Gems and Coins through free Brawl Stars codes to help upgrade your new brawlers, so make sure you do not miss them.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. Who Is the Latest Brawl Stars Brawler?

The latest brawler is Vince, a Mythic Damage Dealer arriving with the October 2026 Brawl-O-Ween season. Before him, Cosmo, a Controller, arrived in September. The two fill different roles, so choose based on the modes you play most and your team composition.

Q. When Will the Next New Brawler Be Announced?

Brawl Talk airs roughly every two months, and the last episode was on August 29. If that schedule holds, the next episode is expected in late October to early November. Along with new brawler abilities and release dates, it may reveal new events and balance changes.

Q. How Many Credits Does It Cost to Unlock a New Brawler?

Brawler Blast has a set Credit cost for each rarity. Mythic brawlers, which account for many recent new releases, cost 1,900 Credits, while Legendary brawlers cost 3,800 and Ultra brawlers cost 5,500 Credits. You will also need Coins and Power Points to upgrade them after unlocking, so save some upgrade resources, too.

Q. What Happens If I Miss Early Access?

Missing Early Access does not mean you lose the chance to get a new brawler. New brawlers join Brawler Blast when the season ends and can then be unlocked with Credits. Cosmo also became available through the regular unlock system on October 1 after his September Early Access period. If you are not in a hurry, waiting while saving Credits is a good option.

Q. Do New Brawlers Have Hypercharges?

As of October 2026, no Hypercharges have been announced for Vince or Cosmo. Recent brawlers have tended to receive them in updates a few months after release, but no specific timing has been confirmed. A Hypercharge could change how strong a brawler is, so keep an eye on future official announcements.
