Updated for Ver. 1.3: Sketches of Lost Heirlooms, this Arknights: Endfield Weapon Tier List helps you decide which weapons are worth your pulls, selectors, and upgrade materials after the latest official version update.
Every time you pull a new character, you face the same question: which weapon actually brings out their power? Not everyone has the pulls for signature weapons, and Ver. 1.3 adds a new reason to recheck old assumptions before spending Arsenal Tickets.
This guide explains weapon strength, character synergy, free selector value, Protocol Pass priorities, and practical combat use cases, so F2P players and low spenders can keep their roster efficient across the current patch.
Top up Arknights: Endfield safely and affordably on GamsGo to stretch your pulls further!

Arknights: Endfield Weapon Tier Definitions
SS-Tier: The core of the current meta. Signature weapon + Dedicated character = Absolute domination. Completely irreplaceable.
S-Tier: Highly versatile top picks, or the best high-value alternatives to signature weapons. Realistically, these are the optimal choices for the vast majority of players.
A-Tier: Top-tier for specific niches, or excellent "jack-of-all-trades" transitional weapons. Definitely worth your investment.
B-Tier: Viable for the mid-game, but you should look to upgrade from these as soon as possible.
C-Tier: Purely filler weapons. Replace these as your highest priority.
Note: Endfield's weapon system is more character-locked than most gacha games. A 6-star weapon built around Heat reactions will do almost nothing useful on a Physical operator. Keep that in mind before spending Arsenal Tickets on anything.
Latest Version Check: Ver. 1.3 Sketches of Lost Heirlooms
As of June 15, 2026, Arknights: Endfield is on Ver. 1.3: Sketches of Lost Heirlooms. The official news page published the version update notes on June 5, 2026, following the pre-download and update notice on June 3, 2026.
This matters for weapon ranking because every main version can change pull priorities through new operators, new banners, new combat content, or team-building shifts. Ver. 1.3 also brings official Mi Fu-related promotion through the Fists of No Regrets Chartered Headhunting notice and first-impression event, so players should review any older Ver. 1.1 recommendations before committing resources.
Update note: this tier list keeps previously tested weapons in their current rankings, while Ver. 1.3 additions and new team synergies should be treated as high-priority review items until live testing confirms their final placement.
Overall Arknights: Endfield Weapon Tier List
The table below sorts currently reviewed weapons by type and tier. Use it as a quick lookup before you commit upgrade materials, selector tickets, or Arsenal Tickets in Ver. 1.3.
Because Sketches of Lost Heirlooms is now the active version, treat older Ver. 1.1-only advice as historical context rather than final pull guidance. New operator and banner data should be cross-checked against your current roster before spending.

Do not rank a new weapon as SS tier only because it is tied to a new banner. For this category, final placement should depend on three things: the operator's real damage window, how often the weapon effect triggers in practical combat, and whether it improves a team you already use.

Opus: Etch Figure from the Protocol Pass covers Ardelia for players who already have the Day 10 weapon and need something for their Protocol Pass. | |||
Ver. 1.3 Pull Priority: Should You Spend Now?
In Ver. 1.3, the safest pull priority is still roster-first: upgrade the operator you actually field, not the weapon that looks strongest in isolation.
Player Type | Best Ver. 1.3 Weapon Strategy |
F2P | Save Arsenal Tickets unless the weapon directly upgrades your main DPS or fixes a missing role. |
Low spender | Use Protocol Pass and selector value first, then pull only for weapons with clear team synergy. |
Meta-focused | Wait for live testing before placing new Ver. 1.3 weapons above established SS-tier signatures. |
New player | Prioritize flexible weapons and free selector picks before chasing limited or banner-specific options. |
Free Weapon Selector Complete Guide
The game also gives players access to a free featured weapon selection system, allowing you to choose the weapon you want directly instead of relying entirely on weapon banner pulls. In addition, pulling on character banners also grants extra currency that can be used for weapon pulls.
If you want to know which characters are worth pulling, you can check out our Arknights: Endfield Banners pull recommendation guide. Every time you obtain a 6-star Operator, you receive 2,000 weapon selector tickets, which is enough for one full 10-pull on the weapon banner.
On top of that, we've also put together a list of Arknights redeem codes that can be used to claim more free rewards, such as T-Cred, Oroberyl, Weapon Inspection Devices, and more —all of which can later be used for weapon pulls.
Here are 3 ways to get free weapons:
New Horizons Weapon Supply (Beginner Selector)
By completing the New Horizons beginner banner progression, you will receive a weapon selection ticket.
The pool includes: JET, Valiant, Wedge, Thermite Cutter, White Night Nova, and other non-limited 6-star options.
JET |
Valiant |
Wedge |
Thermite Cutter |
White Night Nova | and other non-limited 6-star options |
Important: Dreams of the Starry Beach —Ardelia's signature weapon —is not in this selector. It is given separately as a free Day 10 login reward. Do not waste your selector pick hoping it will appear here.
Lv. 45 Weapon Box
How to get it: Reach player level 45. This happens naturally through normal progression.
What it offers: A weapon selector that spans all types, allowing you to fill whichever slot in your roster is currently the weakest.
How to approach it:
This selector is designed as a gap-filler, not an upgrade tool. Before opening it, look at your current roster and identify the operator with the worst weapon equipped. That is the slot to fill.
- List your main team: primary DPS, support/healer, tank, or sub-DPS.
- Check what weapon each operator currently has equipped.
- Identify the widest gap between their current weapon and the best available option in their weapon type.
- Open the selector and fill that gap.
Do not open this selector immediately on reaching level 45. If you are already saving Arsenal Tickets toward a specific weapon for your weakest operator, wait until that banner has passed before deciding. The selector cannot be taken back once opened.
If your roster is already reasonably well-equipped in Ver. 1.3, hold the box until you know whether your newest operator needs a specific weapon upgrade. The Lv. 45 box is most valuable when it fills a confirmed weakness, not when it is opened immediately for a marginal upgrade.
Protocol Pass Weapon Supply
How to get it: Purchase the Protocol Pass (paid season pass). This selector is included in the pass.
The pool contains three options: Umbral Torch, Opus: Etch Figure, and Navigator.
The most important rule for this selector: you can hold the weapon box without opening it. If you purchase the Protocol Pass but are not sure which pick applies to your roster, leave it in your inventory and wait until you have a clearer picture of your team. The box stores safely until you are ready.
Final Thoughts
Arknights: Endfield is now in Ver. 1.3: Sketches of Lost Heirlooms, and that means older weapon advice should be checked against the current banner cycle before you spend. New operators, new combat assumptions, and new team synergies can all change which weapon gives your account the most value.
The best weapon is still the one that improves your real roster. Signature weapons can dominate on their intended operators, but free selectors, Protocol Pass picks, and high-value standard weapons remain the backbone of efficient F2P and low-spender progression.

FAQ
What is the best weapon in Arknights: Endfield right now?
It depends on which operators you own. Forgeborn Scathe on Laevatain, Brigand's Calling on Tangtang, and Delivery Guaranteed on Gilberta are all SS tier on their intended operators. "Best weapon" without context is meaningless —the right question is "best weapon for my roster."
Is the Protocol Pass worth buying for the weapon?
If you own Laevatein and do not have her signature weapon, yes —Umbral Torch alone justifies the Protocol Pass for most players. At ~78—9% of signature performance, the value per dollar is strong. If you do not own any of the three operators the Pass weapons are designed for, the weapon value decreases substantially.
What should F2P players focus on first?
In order of priority —claim Dreams of the Starry Beach from the Day 10 login (free), pick JET or Thermite Cutter from the New Horizons selector based on your roster, then spend Standard Banner Arsenal Tickets on Thermite Cutter or Never Rest depending on your main DPS. You do not need limited weapons to clear all current content.
What changed in Ver. 1.3: Sketches of Lost Heirlooms?
Ver. 1.3 is the current main version as of June 15, 2026, with official update notes published on June 5, 2026. For weapon planning, the key change is that players should recheck old Ver. 1.1 rankings against the latest operator and banner cycle before spending Arsenal Tickets.
Should I change my free weapon selector pick in Ver. 1.3?
You should only change your free weapon selector pick if Ver. 1.3 gave you a new main operator or exposed a clear weakness in your current team. If your main DPS already has a strong weapon, keep using the selector as a gap-filler instead of chasing a small theoretical upgrade.
