Valorant codes unlock free cosmetics like player cards, gun buddies, titles, and sprays. Riot Games drops them around VCT tournaments, Act launches, and seasonal events, but they expire fast and show up without much warning. Miss a 48-hour window during a Grand Finals broadcast, and the code is gone for good.

We've compiled every verified Valorant code for May 2026 in one place, along with redemption steps, a full expired codes archive, and all the other ways to pick up free in-game rewards. This page is updated daily.

All Active Valorant Codes for May 2026

Riot doesn't hand out codes on a regular schedule. Here's every code we've confirmed as of May 2026:

That’s everything available for now. Riot has not shared any new Valorant promo codes since the VCT Masters Santiago campaign wrapped up in mid-March.

The Pride 2025 codes — CC-VAL25-FLYBY-BUDDY, CC-VAL25-PLAYR-CARDS, and CC-VAL25-ATE25-TITLE — are no longer active. The older CC-VAL24 code series has also been dead for months, so you can safely skip those.

We’ll keep checking for new drops and update this page the moment something real appears. Bookmark it now, and you won’t have to dig around when Riot releases the next code.

How to Redeem Valorant Codes?

Two options here. Both work, and neither is faster than the other.

In the Valorant Client

  1. Open Valorant and log in to your Riot account.
  2. In the main menu, look at the top-right corner. Click the VP (Valorant Points) icon next to your currency balance.
  3. A panel with payment options will slide out. Click the far-right tab labeled Prepaid Cards and Codes.
  4. Paste your code in the text box and hit Submit.

The reward should show up in your inventory immediately. If it doesn't, restart the client.

On the Riot Games Website

  1. Go to the Riot code redemption page.
  2. Log in with the Riot account you actually play Valorant on. Double-check this, especially if you have multiple accounts.
  3. Type or paste the code into the box and click Redeem Code.

This method is handy if you're away from your PC or want to redeem a code you spotted on your phone while scrolling through X.

What Do Valorant Codes Give You?

Valorant codes are all about personalizing your profile and loadout. The rewards are cosmetic, so they won't give you a competitive edge, but they're the kind of stuff that makes your account feel like yours. Here's what you can pick up:

  • ✦ Player Cards — the banner art on your profile and loading screen
  • ⚡ Gun Buddies — small charms that hang off your weapon
  • ◈ Titles — text tags displayed under your Riot ID
  • ❂ Sprays — images you can spray on surfaces mid-round

Most of these items are event-exclusive, meaning once the code expires, there's no other way to get them. The VCT Pick'Ems buddies and Twitch Drop titles from past tournaments are already unobtainable, so redeeming codes while they're live is worth the 30 seconds it takes.

Weapon skins, Radianite Points, and VP aren't part of the code system. For those, you'll need the in-game store, Battle Pass, or Night Market. If any site claims to have a code for a free Vandal skin, that's a scam.

Expired Valorant Codes

These codes were active at some point, but no longer work. We're keeping them here as a reference since Riot has reissued similar rewards during past Pride Months and anniversary events. If a code reappears, we'll move it back to the active list.

Why Is My Valorant Code Not Working?

Valorant's code system is pretty unforgiving. Here's what usually goes wrong:

  • The code expired. This is the most common issue by far. Riot doesn't always announce when a code goes dead, and some VCT event codes only last 24 to 48 hours. If it was working yesterday but not today, it's probably gone.
  • You already used it. Each promotional code can only be redeemed once per Riot account. The system won't always give you a clear error message, so if you're not sure, check your inventory for the reward item.
  • Typo or formatting issue. Codes with dashes (like CC-VAL26-ALPHA-OMEGA) need to be entered exactly as shown. Copy and paste is your friend here. Extra spaces at the beginning or end of the code will also cause a rejection.
  • Wrong account. If you have multiple Riot accounts (say, one for NA and one for EU), make sure you're logged into the right one. The reward goes to whatever account is currently signed in, and there's no way to transfer it afterward.
  • Server hiccups during events. When Riot drops codes during a VCT Grand Finals broadcast, millions of players try to redeem at the same time. If you're getting timeouts, wait a few minutes and try again.

How to Get Free Valorant Rewards Beyond Codes

Promotional codes are just one piece of the puzzle. Riot actually gives away more free items through other channels, and these tend to be higher quality rewards.

VCT Twitch Drops

This is where the real action is. During major VCT tournaments, Riot runs Twitch Drop campaigns that reward you for simply watching the broadcast.

The most recent campaign was for VCT Masters Santiago 2026 (February 28 to March 15), which gave out the Bakán Title for watching a live match, plus the Visionario Title and ¡Barrida! Spray for using the Shotcall prediction extension on Twitch.

VCT Masters Santiago 2026

To be eligible for future drops:

  1. Link your Riot account to your Twitch account at account.riotgames.com.
  2. Watch the official VCT broadcast on Twitch during the event window (usually 30+ minutes required).
  3. Claim the drop from your Twitch Drops & Rewards inventory. This step is easy to forget, and unclaimed drops expire.

The next major VCT event that could feature Twitch Drops is VCT Masters later in 2026. Keep an eye on valorantesports.com for announcements.

Pick'Ems Rewards

Pick'Ems let you predict tournament outcomes through the Valorant Esports Hub (in-game or at valorantesports.com). During Masters Santiago, players who submitted predictions earned exclusive gun buddies and titles based on how accurate their brackets were.

This system returns for every major VCT LAN event, so it's worth keeping your predictions locked in even if you're not confident.

Battle Pass (Free Track)

Every Act comes with a Battle Pass, and the free tier includes a decent selection of sprays, player cards, titles, and gun buddies. You earn progress just by playing matches, and there's no obligation to buy the premium tier unless you want the weapon skins, Radianite, and the melee.

Season 2026 Act 2 is the current Act, with Act 3 launching on April 29, 2026. A new Act means a new Battle Pass.

When Does Riot Usually Release New Valorant Codes?

There's no fixed schedule, but if you look at the pattern over the past two years, codes tend to appear around a few predictable moments:

  • VCT Major Events: Masters and Champions tournaments are the most reliable source. Riot dropped multiple codes and Twitch Drop campaigns for Masters Santiago in early 2026, Champions Paris in 2025, and Champions Seoul in 2024.
  • Act or Season Launches: New Acts sometimes come with promotional codes, especially at the start of a new Season year.
  • Pride Month (June): Riot has released Pride-themed codes two years in a row now (2024 and 2025), usually including crosshair color unlock codes, player cards, and gun buddies.
  • Community Challenges: Riot has occasionally launched community-wide challenges where hitting milestones unlocks codes for everyone. The CC-VLRNT-CCHAL series was part of this.

Your best bet for catching new codes early: follow @VALORANT on X, join the official Valorant Discord, and set notifications on for VCT broadcasts. Or just keep this page bookmarked.

Valorant Season 2026 Act 3: Latest Events and Rewards

Valorant Season 2026 Act 3 launches on April 29, 2026 with Skirmish: Ascension, a new Battle Pass, Kuronami 2.0 skins, and a refreshed map pool. Here’s what’s new, what you can unlock, and which rewards are worth watching before the Act ends in late June.

Skirmish: Ascension

After strong player demand for a more competitive Skirmish experience, Skirmish: Ascension is finally here. The mode adds 1v1 and 2v2 queues, separate FTW leaderboards, and a ranked ladder that runs through the FTW platform.

Players choose from a curated pool of 14 agents, each limited to one specific ability, so gunplay, spacing, and quick decision-making matter more than full utility setups.

Rewards include the Combat Ready Player Card, Trade Me Player Card, and rank-based titles such as Skirmish Competitor, Skirmish Expert, and Skirmish Legend. Rewards are claimed as text codes through the FTW Rewards tab and redeemed through Riot's code redemption page or inside the Valorant client.

Act 3 Battle Pass

The Act 3 Battle Pass costs 1,000 VP and includes both free and premium tracks. Notable rewards include:

  • Keys to Elysium Vandal
  • Insidious Phantom
  • Boss Bear Spray
  • Keys to Elysium Melee as the Tier 50 premium reward

Even if you stick to the free track, there are player cards, gun buddies, sprays, and other cosmetics worth picking up along the way.

Kuronami 2.0 Collection

The fan-favorite Kuronami line returns with a second wave. Kuronami 2.0 includes skins for the Phantom, Operator, Ghost, and Guardian, plus a transforming Kunai / Katana melee. It keeps the same shinobi-inspired water aesthetic while expanding the collection to new weapons.

Map Pool Update

Bind is out. Ascent is back. With Patch 12.08 replacing Bind with Ascent, the expected Act 3 competitive rotation is:

  • Ascent, Abyss, Breeze, Corrode, Haven, Pearl, Split

If you spent all of Act 2 perfecting your Bind teleporter fakes, it's time to pivot. Ascent rewards mid-control and long-range aim, so dust off your Operator setups.

FAQ About Valorant Codes

Do Valorant Codes Work Across PC and Console?

Yes. Your inventory is tied to your Riot account, not your platform. Any code you redeem on PC will also show up on Xbox and PlayStation, and the other way around. Just make sure you're logged into the same Riot account everywhere.

Can I Use a Valorant Code More Than Once?

No. Every promotional code is one-time use per account. If you try to enter a code you've already redeemed, it will either fail silently or show an invalid code error.

Do Valorant Codes Expire?

Yes, and often without warning. Riot doesn't publish expiration dates for most codes. Event-specific codes from VCT broadcasts can expire within 24 to 48 hours. Seasonal codes (like Pride) tend to last a few weeks but will eventually be deactivated.

Can I Get Free Valorant Skins from Codes?

No. As of May 2026, Riot has never distributed weapon skins through promotional codes. The free rewards are limited to player cards, titles, gun buddies, sprays, and occasionally crosshair colors. Skins are only available through the in-game store, Battle Pass, or Night Market.

What's the Difference Between a Redeem Code and a Prepaid Card Code?

Promotional redeem codes give you free cosmetic items. Prepaid card codes (or cash codes) are purchased from retailers and add VP currency to your account. Both are entered in the same place (the Prepaid Cards and Codes section), but they do completely different things. Prepaid card codes are region-locked and can only be used for one game.
