The dust from Version 3.1 has barely settled, and the Wuthering Waves community is already buzzing for the 3.2 update. This patch introduces "Echoes of the True Name" and its undeniable star: Sigrika, a Rune warrior built around a unique Echo Skill DMG framework.

In this guide, we cover the 3.2 banner schedule, Sigrika's best build, pre-farming materials, and your Astrite pull strategy before the Anniversary. If you need more Astrites to pull for her, check out GamsGo's cheap Wuthering Waves top-ups with up to 30% off before reading on.

Wuthering Waves Sigrika

Expected Update Date: March 19, 2026 (after maintenance ends at 11:00 UTC+8)

Version Duration: March 19 – April 30 (approximately 42 days)

Special Preview Livestream: Expected March 13, 2026 (Friday) — 3 WuWa Redeem Codes (totaling 300 Astrite) to be revealed

Note: Some information in this guide is based on beta testing and community leaks, and is subject to change upon official announcement.

Wuthering Waves 3.2 Version Overview

Version 3.2 is the third patch in the 3.x season and a major turning point as the Startorch Academy storyline kicks into high gear. Sigrika is the only new 5-star Resonator — the rest are all rerun banners. With the 3.3 Anniversary (expected around April 29) on the horizon, this is also a breather patch that gives you a chance to stockpile Astrite.

That said, don't let the "quiet patch" label fool you. The Sigrika and Qiuyuan combo creates Echo Skill synergy that's strong enough to shake up the current meta. If you're a Rover eyeing an Echo Skill team, this is not a version you can afford to skip.

The reason Qiuyuan is rerunning in the same phase is crystal clear. Qiuyuan is currently the only dedicated Echo Skill DMG buffer in the entire game and already a core piece in Galbrena build comps. Since virtually all of Sigrika's damage is classified as Echo Skill DMG, their synergy is among the best in the game.

If you don't own Qiuyuan, do not miss this rerun.

Phase 2 Banners (April 8 – April 30, estimated)

Lynae, who currently holds a top spot on the WuWa Tier List, is getting a quick rerun after her debut in 3.0. Having cemented her role as a core support for Luuk Herssen, Aemeath, and other top teams in the 3.x meta, this is a must-grab opportunity if you missed her the first time.

Keep in mind that Phoebe's kit is specialized around Spectro Frazzle, which limits her team flexibility somewhat.

  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Attribute: Aero

Core Mechanic: The Rune System

The heart of Sigrika's combat is Rune stack management. Unlike conventional DPS characters, she has a unique playstyle that weaves Echo mechanics directly into her combo loop.

① Rune Acquisition

ConditionRune Gained
Basic Attack Stage 5 hitRune: Trust
Resonance Skill — BIG BOOMY BOOM! or Soliskin to the Rescue hitRune: Answer

② Enhanced Heavy Attack — Schemata of Runes

Consumes 2 Runes to deal Aero DMG classified as Echo Skill DMG. The effect varies based on which Runes are consumed.

③ Basic Rotation Cycle

  1. Use Basic Attack Stage 5 or Resonance Skill to acquire 2 Runes
  2. Cast Enhanced Heavy Attack (Schemata of Runes) to consume Runes → trigger Echo Skill DMG
  3. Repeat the above twice
  4. Hold Resonance Skill to cast Learn My True Name for the final burst

④ Additional Mechanics

Full Stop — Gains 50 points per Enhanced Heavy Attack cast. When Full Stop reaches 50 or above, Sigrika's Rune capacity increases from 2 → 4 and additional effects activate.

Soliskin Vitality — When party members use Echo Skills, Sigrika gains 10 points (max 60). Consuming 30 points during Enhanced Heavy Attack increases DMG Multiplier by 25% + grants DMG Amp stacks.

Why synergy with Qiuyuan is essential — Qiuyuan alone can cast Echo Skills 4 times, rapidly charging Sigrika's Soliskin Vitality.

Innate Gift — Up to 2 stacks. Each stack grants Enhanced Heavy Attack, all Rune effects, and Learn My True Name 30% DMG Amplification. Resets when Learn My True Name is cast or Sigrika leaves the field. Can reach full stacks through 6 Echo Skill casts from party members.

⑤ Resonance Chain (Sequence) Highlights

SequenceEffectNotes
S1Basic Attack Stage 5, BIG BOOMY BOOM!, and Soliskin to the Rescue DMG Multipliers +70%Immune to interruption during Enhanced Heavy Attack

Signature Weapon

StatDetails
Base ATK588
Secondary StatCRIT DMG 48.6%
Weapon EffectATK increased by 12–24%. When using Intro Skill or Echo Skill, Echo Skill DMG is deepened by 32–64% (15s). When dealing Echo Skill DMG, Aero DMG ignores 10–20% of the target's DEF (6s).

Since virtually all of Sigrika's damage is classified as Echo Skill DMG, this weapon's efficiency is among the best in the entire game. The DEF ignore effect in particular is an extremely rare stat in Wuthering Waves, making the signature weapon exceptionally valuable.

Alternative Weapon: Abyss Surges (standard 5-star Gauntlets) is a competitive alternative. Its Energy Regen secondary stat converts into damage through Sigrika's passive (37.5% Echo Skill DMG Bonus per 1.5% ER above 100%, capped at 150%), making the gap between it and the signature weapon smaller than for most other characters.

Signature Echo Set: Sound of True Name

  • 5-Piece Effect: When dealing Echo Skill DMG, Echo Skill Crit Rate +20%, Aero DMG +15% (5s)

Pre-released in Version 3.1, this set synergizes almost perfectly with Sigrika's Echo Skill DMG-focused kit. It's active almost permanently during combat.

Pre-Farming Guide

If you want Sigrika ready to go on day one, here's what you can start farming now:

Story Update

Version 3.2 introduces a new Tidal Mission chapter set within Startorch Academy in the Lahai-Roi region. The storyline is expected to revolve around Sigrika's backstory and the crisis facing the academy.

While the existing Startorch Academy area will be expanded, it's an extension of the current academy grounds rather than an entirely new region, so don't expect the same scale of exploration content as Versions 3.0 or 3.1. Expect relatively fewer chests and puzzles.

The story arc itself is said to conclude in Version 3.3, making 3.2 a crucial transitional chapter leading up to the climax.

Estimated Free Astrite

The exact Astrite total for Version 3.2 will be confirmed after the preview livestream, but based on patterns from previous versions:

Astrite Data Comparison Across Past Versions

VersionDurationF2P AstriteF2P Total Pulls
2.835 days~10,170~97 pulls
3.043 days~18,972~140 pulls (new region included)
3.142 days~15,350–16,600~108+ pulls

Version 3.2 is a similar 42-day patch to 3.1, but without a major new region, so expect slightly fewer Astrite than 3.1 but more than 2.8.

Estimated Astrite Breakdown for 3.2

Approximately 13,000–15,000 free Astrite available for F2P players (roughly 90–100 pulls):

  • Maintenance compensation (300) + Livestream redeem codes (300)
  • Daily Commissions over 42 days (2,520) + weekly content
  • Event rewards total (estimated 2,500–3,000)
  • Main story rewards (~400)
  • Endgame content (Tower of Adversity, Matrix Double Pons, Tactical Hologram, etc.)
  • Trophy / Achievement rewards
  • Shop exchange resets (7 Radiant Tides + 7 Forging Tides + 7 Lustrous Tides)

Without a major new map, exploration Astrite will be lower compared to 3.0. Still, this should be a fairly generous version for F2P players, and it's an excellent window to save up for the 3.3 Anniversary.

Event Predictions

The exact event lineup will be revealed during the preview livestream, but based on previous patch patterns, here's what to expect:

Confirmed / Near-Certain

  • Version Login Event: 5 Radiant Tides + 5 Lustrous Tides (7-day login)
  • Main Event: Rewards including Astrite, new Echoes, Sigils, and leveling materials
  • Mail Rewards: 1,600 Astrite (distributed in stages)

Highly Likely

  • Matrix Double Pons Expansion: New difficulty tiers confirmed in beta
  • Tactical Hologram: Hybatia — New Hologram featuring the Hybatia boss
  • Exploration Event: Tied to the academy expansion area
  • Casual Mini-Game: Included in every version as a relaxation event
  • Combat Challenge: Echo Combat / Blade Hunter-type event
  • Lollo Campaign Return: 5 Lustrous Tides + 400 Astrite (based on prior patterns)

Recurring Content

  • Tacet Field Double Drop: Limited-time 2x Echo/leveling material rewards
  • Pinnacle of Glory: Recurring combat challenge
  • Roguelike Dungeon: Randomized Echo/Metaphor-based combat updated each version

Quality of Life Updates

Key improvements spotted in the beta:

Quest / Voice Data Management: You can now selectively delete voice, cutscene, and other data from completed main/side quests to reduce game storage. Incomplete quests cannot be deleted. This is especially useful for mobile players.

Seasonal Matrix System: A new season-rotating Matrix challenge has been added, expanding endgame content. Players can earn special currency to exchange for rewards.

Other: Performance optimizations and UI improvements are also expected.

Astrite Management and Pull Strategy

With only one new character, Version 3.2 is relatively relaxed from an Astrite management perspective. However, the 3.3 Anniversary is expected to bring 2 new characters and a massive rerun wave, so long-term planning is essential.

Recommended Priority Order

① If You're Targeting Sigrika:

  • Already own Qiuyuan → Just pulling Sigrika immediately completes a top-tier team
  • Don't own Qiuyuan → Ideally secure both in Phase 1 (worst case: ~160 pulls × 2 = 320 pulls needed)
  • Signature weapon requires a separate budget on top of that

② If You Don't Have Lynae:

  • Phase 2's Lynae rerun is an excellent chance to pick up a core 3.x meta support
  • Essential piece for Luuk Herssen and Aemeath teams

③ Saving for 3.3:

  • The Anniversary version is expected to feature 2 new 5-stars (Hiyuki — likely Glacio DPS, Denia — likely Fusion Sub DPS) + massive reruns (up to 10 characters)
  • Smart to keep an Astrite reserve

④ Minimum Investment:

  • Skipping 3.2 entirely and going all-in on 3.3 is also a valid strategy
  • However, given the powerful Sigrika + Qiuyuan synergy, if you want an Echo Skill team, this is the optimal timing

Pull Budget Reference

  • 5-Star Guarantee: 80 pulls (hard pity) in worst case
  • Featured Character Guarantee: 160 pulls worst case (if you lose the 50/50)
  • Sigrika + Signature Weapon: Approximately 240–320 pulls (varies with luck)

Beyond 3.2: Roadmap

VersionExpected DateKey Content
3.3April 292nd Anniversary version. 2 new 5-stars (Hiyuki, Denia) + massive reruns. Startorch Academy story concludes.
3.4Mid-JuneCyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration confirmed (Lucy & Rebecca expected as playable characters)
3.5Jul–AugReturn to Huanglong / Mengzhou region. Antares (Mengzhou's Sentinel, expected Fusion attribute)
3.6Sep–OctThe First Instance debuts. Yangyang SP version.

Version 3.2 is a connecting patch building toward the Startorch Academy arc's climax, with much bigger changes on the horizon. Between the 3.3 Anniversary and the 3.4 Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collab, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Wuthering Waves.

Conclusion: 3.2 — Should You Pull?

On the surface, Version 3.2 looks like a "quiet" patch with just one new character and several reruns. But in practice, it's a crucial turning point that completes the Echo Skill team archetype as a new pillar of the meta.

The 3.3 Anniversary looming right around the corner is impossible to ignore either. With 2 new 5-stars and a massive rerun wave already teased, where you focus your Astrite depends entirely on your roster and priorities. If Echo Skill teams don't interest you, using 3.2 as a savings window and going all-in on 3.3 is a perfectly sound strategy.

Whatever you decide, we recommend waiting for the official confirmation from the March 13 Special Preview Livestream before making your final call. And when you're ready to pull, a Wuthering Waves top-up through GamsGo can stretch your Astrite budget further — so you don't have to choose between Sigrika now and the Anniversary later.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is Sigrika still viable without Qiuyuan?

She's functional at a basic level, but her performance ceiling drops significantly. The Echo Skill DMG amplification from Qiuyuan's Outro Skill is currently irreplaceable in the game. Without Qiuyuan, Mortefi + Verina is the next best option, but the overall DPS gap is very noticeable.

Is Sigrika's signature weapon a must-pull?

The DEF ignore effect on the signature weapon is extremely powerful, but Abyss Surges (standard 5-star Gauntlets) is a strong alternative thanks to its ER-to-Echo Skill DMG conversion through Sigrika's passive — the gap is smaller than for most other characters. If Astrite is tight, prioritize pulling the character first and use Abyss Surges as a substitute — it's a perfectly reasonable approach.

If I have both Sigrika and Jiyan, when do I use who?

Jiyan excels in AoE content and wave clearing, while Sigrika specializes in single-target boss fights and DPS-check content. In Tower of Adversity, use Jiyan for wave-clear floors and Sigrika for Hologram boss encounters. Having both lets you fully cover all endgame scenarios.

Among the Phase 2 reruns, who's the most valuable?

It depends on your roster, but in terms of overall versatility: Lynae > Zani > Phoebe. Lynae is a core support across multiple 3.x meta teams. Zani is the definitive Spectro Frazzle Main DPS but practically requires Phoebe to function, so you'd need them as a pair. Phoebe has limited use without Zani.

As an F2P player, how many pulls can I expect in 3.2?

Based on previous version patterns, expect roughly 90–100 pulls for F2P. Version 3.1 yielded around 108 pulls (with new region exploration), and 2.8 around 97 pulls. Since 3.2 doesn't add a major new map, it should be slightly less than 3.1 but similar to or slightly more than 2.8.

Can I start pre-farming for Sigrika now?

Yes. Her Ascension Boss material (Our Choice — Nameless Rover Boss), Local Specialty (Arithmetic Shells — Bjartr Woods), Common Materials (Whisperin Cores), and Echo Set (Sound of True Name — Frostlands Transit Port Tacet Field) are all farmable in the current version.

What's coming in the 3.3 Anniversary?

According to leaks, 2 new 5-star characters are expected — Hiyuki (likely Glacio DPS) and Denia (likely Fusion Sub DPS) — along with up to 10 rerun banners. It's likely to follow a similar massive banner structure to the 1st Anniversary.
