Genshin Impact is finally heading into its final chapter.

Nod-Krai wraps up in Version 6.7, and Snezhnaya opens immediately afterward in Version 7.0. The culmination of a six-year journey will start moving at full speed from summer 2026.

It is not just new characters, either: major Elemental Reaction updates, comeback buffs for older characters, a new map explored by railway, and even a new outfit for the Traveler. The amount of leaked information coming out is honestly massive.

In this article, we have compiled all currently known leak information from 6.7 through Snezhnaya 7.3. New characters, new regions, new Elemental Reactions, buffs for older characters, story developments, and more are organized by category.

If you want to prepare Genesis Crystals for Snezhnaya, you can get up to 30% off with a Genshin Impact top-up on GamsGo.

📝 About this article: The information in this article is based on cross-checking beta client datamines, Telegram and Reddit posts from overseas leakers, and announcements from official preview programs.

The Version 6.7 closed beta test already began in mid-May 2026, and Sandrone gameplay footage, skill data, and ascension materials have already leaked. We will replace and update the content whenever a new build or official announcement appears.

About the Reliability of Leaks

Genshin Impact leaks range from rock-solid to extremely shaky. Data pulled directly from the beta client obviously carries adifferent weight from rumors at the level of “a friend of an insider said so,” so this article labels them as follows.

  • Reliability: High — Confirmed to exist through beta client datamining, or already revealed through official drip marketing. The content is confirmed to be coming, with only numbers left to tune.
  • Reliability: Medium — Information supported by multiple leakers with proven track records, such as Chugou, DK2, and hxg. The character's existence is almost certain, but the exact version may shift.
  • Reliability: Low — Still in the first-report stage. Names or codenames have been seen, but the Element, weapon, and kit direction are not yet locked in.

“Reliability: Low” does not mean “fake.” Think of it more as “the outline is still blurry.”

Version 6.7-7.3 New Character Leak Overview

According to leaker Chugou, a total of six playable characters are expected to be added from 7.0 to 7.3. Including Sandrone in 6.7, that means at least seven new faces are lined up over the next half year. Below are the character details known so far, and we will add more as new information appears.

📌 Important: The official preview program confirmed that Version 6.8 does not exist. The game will move directly from 6.7 to 7.0 (Snezhnaya). Snezhnaya's release date is confirmed as August 12, 2026 based on the redemption code “Snezhnaya20260812.”

Also, the 6.7 beta test already began in mid-May, and Sandrone's skills, Constellations, ascension materials, and motion footage have all leaked. The information below already reflects the beta build.

New Character Details

Sandrone (Version 6.7 / Reliability: High)

RoleMain DPS
Release WindowVersion 6.7 Phase 1 (July 1, 2026)
AffiliationFatui Harbinger No. 7, "Marionette"

Fatui Harbinger No. 7, "Marionette." She is an on-field Cryo main DPS built entirely around the new Stellar Superconduct reaction. Gameplay footage, skill data, and ascension materials have all been confirmed in the 6.7 beta test.

Her core gameplay loop revolves around the automaton "Fageo": a Charged Attack summons Fageo into computation mode, where it continuously fires Cryo beams in a Neuvillette-style sustained laser attack, building a computation gauge.

Once the gauge maxes out, she shifts into Overload Mode for burst damage, then uses her Elemental Skill to reset the cycle. Her Elemental Burst calls down prism resonance cannons for large AoE Cryo DMG.

In the story, leaks claim she makes a major sacrifice to protect the Traveler during the climax of the Nod-Krai arc, with Dottore destroying her mechanical core. Her remains are then reportedly brought to Fontaine, where she is rebuilt using a Vision left behind by Alain Guillotin as a power source.

For a full kit breakdown, recommended team comps, and weapons, see here → "Sandrone Details."

Her ascension and Talent materials have also been confirmed in the beta test, so pre-farming is possible before her July release. Material details are summarized in the Sandrone guide.

Vodianitsa (Version 7.0 / Reliability: Medium)

RoleUnconfirmed
Release WindowVersion 7.0 (August 12, 2026)
AffiliationKorolevskiy Troupe (prima soprano)

Her name comes from a water spirit in Slavic mythology, but her Element is reportedly not Hydro, but Electro. Classic HoYoVerse misdirection. She is the prima soprano of the Korolevskiy Troupe, and her name has already appeared in Linnea's voice lines.

She appears to be designed to complete a Stella Superconduct team alongside Sandrone (Cryo). That said, some leakers have suggested that despite having the name of a water spirit, she may actually be a Dendro character who triggers a new Cryo + Dendro reaction rather than Electro.

For now, however, the Electro theory is the mainstream one.

Pantalone (Version 7.0-7.1 / Reliability: Medium)

Pantalone character image
Rarity★5
ElementDendro
WeaponUnconfirmed
RoleUnconfirmed
Release WindowVersion 7.0 second half-Version 7.1
AffiliationFatui Harbinger No. 9, “Regrator” / Northland Bank

Fatui Harbinger No. 9, “Regrator.” He is the man who controls the finances of both Northland Bank and the Fatui. The biggest point of interest is the setting where he does not have a Vision, while leaks list him as Dendro. If he is Dendro, he may become the first character able to trigger a new Cryo + Dendro reaction.

The community has been discussing a theory that Harbinger numbers line up with their release months (e.g., #9 → September). Based on this, his release is currently expected in the second half of Version 7.0 or somewhere around 7.1.

The Tsaritsa / Anastasya (Version 7.2-7.3 / Reliability: Medium)

The Tsaritsa character image

TitleThe Tsaritsa / Ruler of Snezhnaya

Her full name is reportedly “Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya”. Ever since the 2020 Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview titled her chapter “Everwinter Without Mercy,” players have been waiting six years for her.

No weapon type or skills have surfaced yet. If she follows the release pattern of previous Archon characters, becoming playable after the Archon Quest concludes, Version 7.2-7.3 would be the natural timing.

Dottore (Version 7.1-7.2 / Reliability: Low)

AffiliationFatui Harbinger No. 2, “The Doctor”

Fatui Harbinger No. 2, “The Doctor” (Il Dottore). Leaks suggest he may be implemented as a playable character with a combat kit different from his weekly boss version. His design has a mad-scientist feel. Reliability is still low.

Other Character Information

  • Cryo Traveler — The Traveler's seventh Elemental form, added in Version 7.0. Available to all players for free.
  • ★4 Cryo character (name unknown) — Chugou's leak says one of the six characters from 7.0-7.3 will be a ★4.
  • 3 unrevealed characters — In addition to the three known characters (Vodianitsa, Pantalone, and the Tsaritsa), three more characters with no details yet are apparently waiting in the lineup.

Characters Not Expected to Release in Snezhnaya

CharacterOverview
Alice

The founder of the Hexenzirkel and Klee's mother. Some information points to Pyro and Catalyst. She is not currently planned for release in Snezhnaya, and is more likely to appear after the Khaenri'ah arc.

However, a very small number of leakers have predicted an appearance in Version 7.0, so while reliability is low, it cannot be completely ruled out.

SnegurochkaA Snezhnayan character whose name has only been confirmed among leakers. Early leaks mention Cryo and Sword, but details are unknown.

Version 6.7-7.3 Rerun Leaks

New characters are not the only way to spend Primogems. Rerun banners may also feature key characters who support the Stellar Reaction meta. Here, we summarize the rerun predictions for each version.

Version 6.7 Rerun Leaks (Reliability: High)

With the 6.7 beta test underway, the reliability of the rerun lineup has gone up a notch. Multiple independent sources agree on a lineup of Columbina (first rerun) in Phase 1, and Raiden Shogun + Citlali in Phase 2. Being able to pull for two Harbingers in the same Phase is a pretty rare timing.

CharacterElementWhy They Matter
Columbina character image

Columbina

Hydro

Her first rerun since debuting in Version 6.3. She is a core piece for Lunar Reaction teams and also plays an important story role as the proxy attendee at the summit called by the Tsaritsa.

Since she appears alongside Sandrone in Phase 1, this is a rare chance to target two Harbingers at the same time. Even if you lose the 50/50 on one, the structure lets you use the guaranteed pity slot on the other.

Raiden Shogun character image

Raiden Shogun

ElectroStella Superconduct needs a stable Electro application. Raiden Shogun can keep applying Electro from off-field, making her an excellent match for Sandrone and the rerun candidate with the strongest community consensus.
Citlali character image

Citlali

CryoA candidate for the support slot in Stella Superconduct teams as a Cryo support. Since she shares Sandrone's Cryo Element, she can also help enable resonance bonuses.

Version 6.7 New Outfits

Data from the 6.7 beta test and information from leaker hh indicate that new outfits for Citlali and Charlotte will be added in Version 6.7. Citlali is expected to rerun in Phase 2, so this may be a convenient timing to pick her up together with the outfit. Design details may still change while the beta test is ongoing.

Version 7.0-7.3 Rerun Predictions

Very little rerun information has surfaced so far for the main Snezhnaya arc. However, based on rerun cycles and the meta environment, a few names are easy to imagine.

  • Nahida — If Pantalone releases as a Dendro character, demand for the Dendro Archon should rise again. Her rerun gap is also quite long.
  • Shenhe — A specialist in Cryo DMG buffs. The more the Stellar Reaction meta raises the value of Cryo characters as a whole, the stronger the reason for her rerun becomes.
  • Zhongli — He has a pattern of rerunning early in new nation releases, such as Inazuma 2.4 and Sumeru 3.0. It would not be surprising to see the same happen in Snezhnaya.
  • Yae Miko — An Electro character receiving a Radiance buff in Version 6.7. An early Snezhnaya rerun would make sense for players who want to try her post-buff performance.

None of these are leaker-sourced claims; they are predictions based on rerun cycles and the meta environment. We will add updates as new leaks appear.

Version 6.7 Chronicled Wish

Version 6.7 is expected to feature a Chronicled Wish. According to leaker Kuroo (via STC), characters receiving Radiance buffs, such as Yae Miko, Cyno, Qiqi, and Wriothesley, will be included.

Like previous Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru Chronicled Wishes, it is expected to let players choose the character or weapon they want to wish for. This will be an important opportunity for players who want to try post-buff performance but cannot wait for a limited-banner rerun.

New Elemental Reaction System: Stellar Reactions

Following Fontaine's Arkhe, Natlan's Nightsoul, and Nod-Krai's Lunar Reactions, Snezhnaya's regional mechanic is “Stellar Reactions”. Three new Cryo-centered reactions will be added one after another.

Reaction NameElement CombinationIntroductionOverview
Stella Superconduct
(Stella Superconduct)
Cryo + ElectroVersion 6.7An upgraded version of old Superconduct. It creates a special field (Stellar Glow Domain) and grants a 38% DMG buff to Cryo and Electro characters inside the field. The design appears to build stacks and then aim for big damage. Sandrone's core mechanic.
Stellar Swirl
(Stellar Swirl)
Cryo + Anemo7. XAn enhanced version of the Swirl reaction. Details are still unknown.
(Unnamed)Cryo + Dendro7.0 onwardThe first reaction between Cryo and Dendro. Pantalone (Dendro) may become its first trigger character. Some theories say it is based on Rimegrass from Imaginarium Theater.

In the Version 6.6 beta test, a reference to “Stella Superconduct” was added to Diona's C6 description and then quickly removed, confirming that the developers are steadily preparing it internally.

Version 6.7 Older Character Buffs (Radiance Buffs)

Alongside the release of Sandrone and Stella Superconduct, seven existing Cryo and Electro characters will receive Radiance buffs. This is the second wave after the Mondstadt characters were buffed in Version 6.6, and the 6.7 beta test data has revealed each character's buff details.

CharacterMain Buff Details
Qiqi character image

Qiqi

Her Skill CD and duration are both standardized at 15 seconds (downtime removed). During the Skill, the entire team's Superconduct and Stella Superconduct damage is increased by +50%. After her Burst, a stack mechanic adds 600% of her ATK to allies' Stella Superconduct damage.
Diona character image

Diona

[New Talent] For 20 seconds after using her Skill, when allies trigger Superconduct, Stella Superconduct, or Cryo Swirl, a coordinated attack occurs every 3.5 seconds. At C6, Superconduct and Stella Superconduct damage inside her Burst field is increased by +40%.
Wriothesley character image

Wriothesley

Major multiplier increases for the 3rd and 5th hits of his Normal Attack. In the Radiance state, his Charged Attack is converted into Stella Superconduct damage. Stella Superconduct damage +30%.
Cyno character image

Cyno

Skill orbs trigger follow-up attacks in sync with the active character's attacks. Inside his Burst field, direct Stella Superconduct damage is added.
Yae Miko character image

Yae Miko

When all three Sesshou Sakura are present, and her Skill is used again, an additional Electro attack is triggered. During the Radiance state, this follow-up attack is converted into Stella Superconduct reaction damage.

Skill duration is extended by 10 seconds. When Superconduct or Stella Superconduct occurs nearby, the next Skill attack is enhanced. One of the biggest buffs among the 6.7 buff group.

Beidou character image

Beidou

[Talent Change] While holding her Skill, stacks automatically accumulate every 0.8 seconds even if she is not hit. Each stack reduces Skill CD by 4 seconds and restores 8 Energy to herself (triggerable once every 15 seconds). Her role as an Energy battery is greatly strengthened.
Mizuki character image

Mizuki

Since she is Anemo, she is outside the Radiance state target group rather than being tied to Stella Superconduct. She has received a Swirl-focused buff and is seen as foreshadowing for the future “Stellar Swirl.”

Qiqi's downtime removal and +50% reaction buff could make her a best-in-slot healer option for Sandrone, and Diona's C6 40% buff is also hard to ignore. It may be worth checking the build status of your current Cryo and Electro characters again.

Notably, Mizuki is the only one of the seven who is Anemo, and she has received a Swirl-focused buff. Some players see this as foreshadowing for the upcoming “Stellar Swirl.”

Another thing to check alongside these buffed characters is the artifact set added in Version 6.6 (released May 20, 2026), “Disenchantment in Deep Shadow.”

Its 4-piece effect specializes in Superconduct damage, and its effect text also includes the line, “On the road to Snezhnaya, you may yet obtain a new blessing.” Many see this as foreshadowing for Stella Superconduct, and it is highly likely to become Sandrone's best artifact set. It is already live, so it is worth farming now ahead of 6.7.

Incidentally, Version 6.6's Genius Invokation TCG also includes foreshadowing. New cards such as The Other Side of the Frostmoon and Elemental Transfiguration: Rimegrass Blessing contain keywords related to Stellar Reactions and the Cryo + Dendro reaction, showing that the developers are laying groundwork for Snezhnaya mechanics across the entire system.

Snezhnaya Region Leaks

The seventh and final nation of Teyvat. Here is a summary of the information announced in the official preview program “Snezhnaya, and the Future,” along with additional information from leakers.

Regional Worldview

The developers cited Snowpiercer and the Metro series as inspirations for the region's atmosphere. The setting is a frozen empire ruled by the Tsaritsa, with a heavy mood based on Eastern Europe and the Arctic. It is the Fatui's home base, and both Northland Bank and the Adventurers' Guild headquarters are located in Snezhnaya.

Version 6.7 New Area: Frostmoon

The 6.7 beta test confirms the addition of a new Nod-Krai area called “Frostmoon”. A TCG card titled “The Other Side of the Frostmoon” was also added early in 6.6, so its status as an official area name seems fairly strong.

A Natlan map expansion is also expected at the same time, making Version 6.7 the final chapter of Nod-Krai while also significantly expanding exploration content.

Railway Exploration System

Snezhnaya will introduce a travel system based on a railway network. Exploring vast snowfields by train will be an exploration experience Genshin Impact has never had before. Rather than a simple transportation option like horses or boats, the railway network itself appears to be built into the map structure.

New Traveler Outfit

Version 7.0 will add a new outfit for the Traveler (Aether/Lumine). It is still unknown whether it will be a cold-weather design suited to Snezhnaya's climate or an outfit tied to story developments, but it was mentioned in the official preview program.

Story Development Leaks

Since this section contains spoilers, we will keep specific story details to a minimum. If you do not want to know, please skip this section.

Version 6.7: Nod-Krai Conclusion

In the final chapter of Nod-Krai, leaks say there will be a summit where the Tsaritsa summons the gods of each nation. Columbina attends as a proxy, and this summit is structured as the bridge leading directly into Snezhnaya in Version 7.0.

Version 7.0-7.3: Snezhnaya Archon Quest

The Snezhnaya Archon Quest is expected to reveal the truth behind the Gnosis collection plan and the Tsaritsa's goal. In the official preview program, the developers stated that they would “bring the story to its conclusion naturally, without forcibly stretching it out or rushing it.” It has also already been announced that the Khaenri'ah and Celestia chapters will follow after Snezhnaya.

Primogem Planning: Bet on 6.7 or Wait for 7.0?

The most important decision over the next half year may actually be “whether to act in 6.7 or wait until 7.0”, even more than “who to pull.”

  • There is almost no gap between 6.7 and 7.0. Version 6.7 runs for about 42 days from around July 1 to August 11, and Snezhnaya begins the next day on August 12. There is almost no time to “pull Sandrone, then save Primogems for 7.0.” If you want both, you need to start stockpiling now.
  • Sandrone can function on her own. The Electro slot can be filled by Raiden Shogun (expected to rerun in 6.7 Phase 2) or Fischl. Vodianitsa would complete the team, but Sandrone should still be usable without her.
  • The Tsaritsa is still further away. Based on the release timing of past Archon characters, the Tsaritsa is likely 7.2 at the earliest. Even if you pull Sandrone or a 7.0 character and then start saving again, you should have time to reach pity.
  • Keep pity carryover in mind. If you move into the next version after losing the 50/50, your next limited character will be guaranteed. Simply checking your current pity count can make your planning much more accurate.

Summary

Superconduct is being reborn through Sandrone, Snezhnaya is opening the final chapter of Teyvat, and the Tsaritsa waits beyond that. It has been six years since the Traveler first set foot on the hills of Mondstadt in Version1.0. It has been a long journey.

But it is not over yet. Snezhnaya's main quest, three Stellar Reactions, snowfields explored by railway, and three new characters whose names and faces we still do not know. Genshin Impact in the second half of 2026 should still have plenty of surprises prepared.

FAQ

What Happened to Version 6.8?

It was skipped. The official preview program announced that the game will move directly from 6.7 to 7.0. The number portion of the redemption code “Snezhnaya20260812” is the Snezhnaya release date itself.

When Will Snezhnaya be Released?

It is confirmed for August 12, 2026. Snezhnaya will begin the day after Version 6.7 ends.

What Is Stella Superconduct?

It is an upgraded version of Superconduct (Cryo + Electro). The old version only reduced Physical RES, but Stella Superconduct creates a special field and grants a 38% DMG buff to Cryo and Electro characters inside it. Sandrone's entire kit is designed around this reaction.

Isn't Vodianitsa Supposed to be Hydro?

Her name comes from a water spirit in Slavic mythology, but her Element is Electro. If you assume Electro was assigned so she can complete a Stellar Superconduct team with Sandrone (Cryo), the design intent becomes clear.

When Is The Tsaritsa Coming?

Past Archon characters (Venti → Raiden Shogun → Nahida → Furina → Mavuika) have all become playable after their Archon Quests concluded. If that pattern holds, Version 7.2 or 7.3 would be the natural timing.

Will Alice be Released in Snezhnaya?

Based on current leak information, she is not planned for release in Snezhnaya (7.0-7.3). She is considered more likely to appear after the Khaenri'ah arc.

Is Qiqi's Buff Really Strong?

Based on the beta leak numbers, it looks very strong. Her Skill downtime disappears, and while it is active, the entire team's Superconduct and Stella Superconduct damage is increased by 50%. She could become a best-in-slot healer option for Sandrone, so building her seems unlikely to be a waste.

About Updates to This Article

Once the Version 6.7 beta test begins, Sandrone's final multipliers and the detailed mechanics of Stellar Superconduct should become clear. The 7.0 preview program should reveal official information on Vodianitsa and Pantalone. We will replace this article's content at each of those major checkpoints, so bookmark it if you want to keep track.
