HSR Cyrene Role Overview

Cyrene is a 5-star Ice character following the Path of The Remembrance in Honkai: Star Rail. She is a premium support for Chrysos Heirs, offering teamwide True DMG, powerful Ultimate cycling, and exclusive buffs that enhance the mechanics and damage ceiling of Chrysos Heir characters.

Cyrene can deploy a special Zone with her Skill, giving all allies long-lasting True DMG support. Through her own actions, memosprite actions, and ally actions affected by Future, she gains Recollection to activate her core Ultimate support.

After using her Ultimate, Cyrene can fully charge all allies' Ultimates and summon her memosprite Demiurge. She then provides exclusive Chrysos Heir buffs through the Imprint of “Selfhood”, making her a core character for pushing Chrysos Heir teams beyond their normal limits.

Is Cyrene Worth Pulling?

Yes, Cyrene is worth pulling if you have invested in Chrysos Heirs or plan to build around them in future content. Her biggest strength is that she gives every Chrysos Heir a unique boost, improving both their mechanics and their damage ceiling.

Cyrene also provides strong general support value. Her Zone gives the whole team True DMG, her Ultimate fully charges all allies' Ultimates the first time it is used, and her memosprite Demiurge enables powerful Chrysos Heir-exclusive buff cycles.

If your account already has Chrysos Heir characters, Cyrene can greatly raise their performance in Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow. If you do not use Chrysos Heirs, she still has utility, but her highest value clearly comes from Chrysos Heir-centered teams.

Cyrene's Best Relics and Ornaments

Trailblazers, Cyrene wants Relics that help her reach high SPD breakpoints while keeping enough HP and CRIT stats. Her kit relies heavily on frequent actions, Recollection stacking, and fast Ultimate startup, so SPD is her highest-priority stat.

For most builds, Cyrene can use any 2-piece SPD combination such as Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal x2 and Messenger Traversing Hackerspace x2. This helps her reach the important 180 SPD threshold more easily.

If your team does not need extra SPD as much, especially in certain Chrysos Heir or Castorice-style teams, World-Remaking Deliverer x4 becomes a strong dedicated option for its team damage value.

Cyrene can use this set to advance forward after Ultimates beyond the first one. However, it requires many SPD sub-stat rolls to work smoothly, so it is less beginner-friendly.

Cyrene's Best Light Cones

Trailblazers, Cyrene's best Light Cones should improve her SPD, team damage support, memosprite value, and overall rotation speed. Her signature Light Cone is especially valuable because it helps reduce the pressure of reaching her 180 SPD threshold.

This Love, Forever is Cyrene's best Light Cone. It increases her SPD, lets her memosprite apply enemy Vulnerability or teamwide CRIT DMG buffs, and further strengthens those effects once both are active.

This Love, Forever

This Love, Forever

★★★★★ - Best
Cyrene's signature and best Light Cone. It gives 18% SPD, lowering the pressure of reaching 180 SPD. When her memosprite uses skills, it can apply enemy DMG Taken increase and teamwide CRIT DMG. When both effects are active, they are further enhanced.
Memory's Curtain Never Falls

Reminiscence

Reminiscence

★★☆☆☆ - Usable
A basic backup option that increases Cyrene and her memosprite's damage. It is serviceable early on, but it lacks the SPD and team utility that Cyrene wants most.

Should You Pull for Cyrene's Light Cone?

Yes, This Love, Forever is worth pulling if you want Cyrene to feel smoother and reach her key SPD requirement more easily. The 18% SPD bonus directly reduces her build pressure and helps her take more actions for faster Recollection stacking.

Its team value is also strong. When Cyrene's memosprite uses skills, it can apply enemy Vulnerability and increase the team's CRIT DMG. When both effects are active, the buffs become even stronger, raising the whole team's damage ceiling.

If you are saving Stellar Jade, Memory's Curtain Never Falls is the most practical lower-cost option. It still gives SPD and team DMG support, making it a good alternative when Cyrene's signature Light Cone is not available.

Cyrene's Best Teams

Trailblazers, Cyrene is designed as a core support for Chrysos Heirs. Her strongest value comes from her Skill Zone, teamwide True DMG support, Recollection stacking, full-team Ultimate activation, and her memosprite Demiurge, which grants exclusive buffs to Chrysos Heir characters.

Chrysos Heirs are the gold-blooded heroes of Amphoreus. In gameplay, Cyrene works best when the team has at least two Chrysos Heirs, because this helps her gain more Recollection at the start of battle and during combat, letting her charge her first Ultimate faster.

After Cyrene uses her Ultimate, Demiurge gains access to offensive and support memosprite skills. The key support skill, “This Poem, Dedicated to All Life”, grants unique enhancement effects to Chrysos Heirs. If the target is not a Chrysos Heir, it instead provides a 2-turn 40% DMG boost.

Cyrene Castorice Team

Cyrene Trace Priority and Kit Analysis

Trailblazers, Cyrene's kit revolves around Recollection, Future, her True DMG Zone, and her memosprite Demiurge. She is a premium Remembrance support made for Chrysos Heirs, but she can also contribute solid HP-scaling Ice DMG after using her Ultimate.

Cyrene's core value is simple: she creates a Zone that lets all allies deal additional True DMG, stacks Recollection through ally and memosprite actions, then uses her Ultimate to activate all allies' Ultimates and unlock Demiurge's powerful support cycle.

Her main upgrade priority is Skill = Memosprite Skill > Talent > Ultimate > Memosprite Talent > Basic ATK. Skill improves the True DMG Zone, Memosprite Skill strengthens her Chrysos Heir buffs, and Talent improves her teamwide damage support.

Recollection and Future Explained

Cyrene's Ultimate does not use normal Energy. Instead, she uses Recollection. Before her first Ultimate, she needs 24 Recollection. After entering Ripples of Past Reverie, later Ultimate activations only need 12 Recollection.

When combat begins or after Cyrene takes action, allies and their memosprites gain Future. When allies with Future take action, Future is consumed and Cyrene gains 1 Recollection. With Child of Remembrance, memosprites can gain Future without consuming it, making frequent memosprite actions very valuable for charging Cyrene.

MechanicHow It Works
Starting RecollectionWith Ripples Across Time, Cyrene gains 2 / 3 / 6 Recollection at battle start when there are 1 / 2 / 3 Chrysos Heir or Remembrance characters in the team, excluding Cyrene.
SkillCyrene gains 3 Recollection after using Skill.
Ally ActionsAfter Cyrene gives Future, each ally action can consume Future to give Cyrene 1 Recollection.
Memosprite ActionsMemosprites can help generate Recollection, and with Child of Remembrance, their Future will not be consumed.

Cyrene Basic ATK, Skill, and Ultimate

Cyrene's Skill is her main setup button before Ultimate. It grants 3 Recollection and creates a 2-turn Zone. While the Zone is active, ally damage triggers additional True DMG. After her first Ultimate, this Zone becomes permanent.

Her first Ultimate is the major turning point of her kit. It summons Demiurge, gives Demiurge an extra turn, activates all teammates' Ultimates, enhances Cyrene's Basic ATK, increases Cyrene and Demiurge's CRIT Rate, and removes the duration limit from her Zone.

Demiurge Memosprite Skills

After Cyrene's Ultimate, Demiurge provides two kinds of value: an offensive AoE skill and a support skill. The offensive skill, Minuet of Blooms and Plumes, deals Ice DMG to all enemies based on Demiurge's Max HP.

The support skill, This Ode, to All Lives, is Cyrene's defining mechanic. If used on a Chrysos Heir, it grants a unique exclusive buff. If used on a non-Chrysos Heir, it gives a simple 2-turn DMG increase instead.

Cyrene Bonus Abilities

Cyrene's Bonus Abilities are very important because they improve her SPD scaling, Recollection startup, and memosprite interaction. Her 180 SPD threshold should be treated as a core build requirement.

Bonus AbilityWhy It Matters
Causality in Trichotomy

Causality in Trichotomy

When Cyrene reaches 180 SPD, all allies gain 20% DMG. For every 1 SPD above 180, Cyrene and Demiurge gain 2% Ice RES PEN, counting up to 60 excess SPD. This makes 180 SPD mandatory and 240 SPD the upper scaling cap.
Child of Remembrance

Ripples Across Time

Ripples Across Time

At battle start, Cyrene gains extra Recollection based on the number of Chrysos Heir or Remembrance teammates. This is why her best teams usually include multiple Chrysos Heirs or Remembrance characters.

Cyrene Technique

Cyrene's Technique creates a Special Dimension for 30 seconds. Allies inside gain 50% movement speed, and enemies inside enter This Moment, Forever, preventing them from taking action.

If combat starts while the Technique field is active, Cyrene automatically deploys her Skill Zone at battle start. This gives her a 0-start setup and makes her opening much smoother.

Technique Peace at West Wind's End

Peace at West Wind's End

Cyrene Gameplay Guide

Use Cyrene's Technique before battle whenever possible. This lets her start combat with the Skill Zone already active, giving the team immediate True DMG support without spending the first turn only on setup.

Before her first Ultimate, focus on gaining Recollection through Skill, ally actions, and memosprite actions. Teams with multiple Chrysos Heirs or Remembrance characters help her reach 24 Recollection much faster.

After her first Ultimate, Cyrene enters Ripples of Past Reverie. Her Zone becomes permanent, her Basic ATK becomes AoE, and later Ultimate activations only need 12 Recollection to give Demiurge another extra turn.

Demiurge's support skill should usually go to the team's main Chrysos Heir first. In Castorice teams, buff Castorice early. In Phainon teams, prioritize Phainon. If playing main DPS Cyrene, Trailblazer (Remembrance) becomes especially valuable because their Enhanced Basic ATK can trigger Demiurge's extra Minuet of Blooms and Plumes.

Cyrene Eidolons

Trailblazers, Cyrene's Eidolons improve both her support ceiling and personal damage. Her strongest early stopping point is E2, since it gives her 12 Recollection at battle start and increases the True DMG multiplier from her Skill Zone.

If you want to play Cyrene as a more damage-focused character, E1 is also valuable because it gives extra Recollection and adds more bounces to Ode to Ego. For maximum investment, E6 gives a huge tempo spike by advancing all allies after her first Ultimate.

FAQ

How much SPD does Cyrene need?

Cyrene should reach at least 180 SPD to activate Causality in Trichotomy, which gives the whole team a DMG boost. If possible, aim for 200+ SPD for smoother Recollection stacking, and up to 240 SPD to fully benefit from her Ice RES PEN scaling.

Should Cyrene use HP% or Ice DMG Sphere?

HP% is the safer and more consistent support option because Cyrene and Demiurge scale with Max HP. Ice DMG can be used if you want more personal damage and already have enough survivability.

What Trace should I level first for Cyrene?

Level her Skill and Memosprite Skill first, then Talent and Ultimate. Her Skill improves the True DMG Zone, while Memosprite Skill strengthens her Chrysos Heir-exclusive buffs.

Is Cyrene's signature Light Cone worth pulling?

Yes, This Love, Forever is worth pulling if you want smoother gameplay. Its SPD bonus helps Cyrene reach her 180 SPD requirement more easily, while also providing team CRIT DMG and enemy Vulnerability through her memosprite.

Is E2 Cyrene a good stopping point?

Yes. E2 is Cyrene's best stopping point for spenders. It gives her 12 Recollection at battle start and increases the True DMG multiplier from her Skill Zone based on how many allies receive Demiurge's buff.
