Pearl's best build uses SPD and Energy Regeneration to keep her 180-Energy Ultimate on a two-turn cycle, while DEF powers her healing and unlocks Panoptic Vision at 2,400 DEF.
Why This Pearl Build Works
DEF, SPD, and Energy calculations
DEF powers her healing, not her shield. Her Skill, Enhanced Basic ATK, and Colors for Tomorrow all heal based on DEF. At 2,400 DEF, Panoptic Vision grants 32% Elation, plus 3% per extra 100 DEF up to 3,600, and 20% of her Elation becomes Outgoing Healing.
Repellency works differently: each point of Certified Banger equals 200 Repellency no matter how much DEF she has. Here is where Pearl lands with a DEF% Planar Sphere, her 22.5% DEF traces, and zero DEF substats:

SPD comes before extra DEF. Sensory Latitude gives Pearl 5 Certified Banger whenever an ally's turn begins, and the cap on that gain resets at the start of her turn. More Pearl turns mean more Certified Banger, faster Deep Learning charges, and more Energy.
Her base SPD is 99. SPD Boots, the 9 SPD from her traces, and the Dreamlit Actor 2-piece put her near 139 SPD before substats, which already clears the 120 SPD that Sprightly Vonwacq needs.
A 180-Energy Ultimate decides the Link Rope and Planar Ornament. Aesthetic Firewall returns a flat 90 Energy when an Elation Aesthetic Archetype uses their next Ultimate, and Colors for Tomorrow adds a flat 10 Energy after her Elation Skill. Her own actions cover the rest.
Here is one Ultimate every two turns with an Energy Regeneration Rate Link Rope and Sprightly Vonwacq, which together give her 124.4% Energy Regeneration:
Without the signature, the same cycle ends at 170.9 Energy. With the signature but a DEF% Link Rope, it ends near 168. Energy from enemy hits and her Elation Skill can fill part of that gap, but the Energy Regeneration Rate Link Rope keeps the two-turn loop steady.
Best Light Cones for Pearl
Colors for Tomorrow is Pearl's best overall Light Cone: its DEF strengthens her healing, its flat Energy supports her 180-cost Ultimate, and its enemy debuff helps the whole team. For a free-to-play build, choose Mushy Shroomy's Adventures and make up the missing DEF with Relics.
Is Pearl's Signature Light Cone Worth It?
Colors for Tomorrow is worth pulling if Pearl will be your main Elation sustain and you can budget for two limited 5-stars. E0S1 and E2S0 sit at the same step in her investment order: the signature fixes her DEF and Energy, while E2 boosts the whole team.
Pearl and Colors for Tomorrow both stay on their banners for all of Version 4.6. You can pull Pearl first, then decide on the Light Cone near the end of the banner, once Aeon Aha's Version 4.7 kit and your Jade balance are clearer.
Best Relics and Planar Ornaments for Pearl
Use 4-Piece Dreamlit Actor with 2-Piece Sprightly Vonwacq for Pearl's default support build. It gives her more SPD and Energy, advances her opening action, and adds Elation and CRIT DMG for the team. If you want Pearl to act more often after her Ultimate, pair 4-Piece Eagle of Twilight Line with 2-Piece Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding instead.
Pearl's ally-targeted Ultimate activates Dreamlit Actor's 16% Elation buff. Her teamwide Skill does not meet its single-ally trigger. The 12% team CRIT DMG bonus activates while she has at least 10 Certified Banger.
Which pairing should you farm? Dreamlit Actor + Vonwacq is the general pick: +6% SPD, +5% Energy Regeneration, a 40% opening action advance, and damage buffs for the team. Eagle + Giant Tree trades those team buffs and opening Energy for a 25% action advance after each Ultimate, +6% SPD, and extra healing at 135 SPD.
The pieces can also be mixed. Already own a strong Eagle set but need Vonwacq's opening action? Keep Eagle + Vonwacq. If your Dreamlit Actor pieces have better SPD and DEF rolls, keep them while using Giant Tree for healing. Prioritize good main stats and substats before refarming a full combination.
Pearl Relic Main Stats and Substats
Substats: SPD > DEF% ≈ Effect RES. Pearl's traces add 9 SPD, 22.5% DEF, and 10% Effect RES, so build SPD first, then add enough DEF for reliable healing. Vonwacq activates at 120 SPD; Giant Tree's first healing threshold is 135 SPD.
Best Pearl Teams
Pearl works best as the sustain in a four-Elation team. Her Ultimate becomes stronger as you add Elation teammates, and a full four-Elation lineup unlocks its extra turn for the chosen Aesthetic Archetype. Start with the Silver Wolf LV.999 team if you own it; Evanescia and Aventurine • Waveflair give you other Elation carries to build around.
Who Should Pearl Target With Her Ultimate?
Target your main Elation damage dealer. In the first two teams, that is Silver Wolf LV.999; in the third, Evanescia; in the fourth, Aventurine • Waveflair. For the dual-carry team, choose the character whose next burst needs Pearl’s extra turn and Certified Banger most.
The Elation Trailblazer is a free substitute for a premium support slot, but the Evanescia and Waveflair teams still require their named limited carries. Pearl can heal outside Elation teams, though those lineups give up part of the Ultimate’s team-count benefits. Pearl Eidolons and Light Cone Priority

Stay at E0S0 if you mainly need Pearl’s healing, cleanse, Repellency, and four-Elation extra turn. You can build her around Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures and invest in stronger Relics first.
Choose E0S1 for a smoother Pearl build. Colors for Tomorrow grants 48% DEF, restores 10 flat Energy after her teamwide Elation Skill, heals the team, and makes enemies take 22% more DMG. It helps her reach a comfortable DEF target and cycle her Ultimate while using an Outgoing Healing Boost Body.
Choose E2S0 for a four-Elation team you plan to keep using. E1 brings up to 60% team Elation and two fatal-hit saves; E2 adds 15% Merrymake, advances the other Elation allies after Pearl’s Ultimate, and doubles the extra turn’s starting Certified Banger and Punchline. These bonuses are especially useful when your main carry can turn extra actions into another burst.

Pearl Skill Priority and How Her Kit Works
Pearl is an Ice Elation sustain built for teams that want healing, damage mitigation, and another turn for their carry. Her key resource is Certified Banger: it protects the team while her Ultimate turns an ally into the Aesthetic Archetype. Four Elation characters bring out the strongest version of that Ultimate.
Pearl Trace Priority
Ultimate > Elation Skill = Skill > Basic ATK > Talent. Bring the first three to level 10 when resources allow, then improve her Basic ATK. Her Talent can be leveled last. Unlock all three major traces as she ascends; their effects are more valuable than delaying them to finish a lower-priority skill level.
Do not skip her major traces. Panoptic Vision (A2) grants 32% Elation at 2,400 DEF, then 3% more per additional 100 DEF, and converts 20% of her Elation into Outgoing Healing.
Sensory Latitude (A4) gives allies 50% Effect RES while Pearl has Certified Banger, restores 5 Certified Banger when an ally's turn begins, and removes one debuff from every ally when she uses Skill or Enhanced Basic ATK.
Aesthetic Firewall (A6) returns a fixed 90 Energy when her designated Elation ally next uses their Ultimate. This refund does not scale with Energy Regeneration Rate.
Certified Banger, Repellency, and Deep Learning
Certified Banger is Pearl's protection reserve. Her Talent converts each point into 200 Repellency, up to 50 points or 10,000 Repellency. When an ally takes damage, Repellency is spent to block 60% of that hit.
It is a shared mitigation resource, so more DEF strengthens Pearl's healing but does not change the 200 Repellency gained per point. Her Skill adds 15 points, her Ultimate adds 20, and A4 adds 5 when an ally's turn begins, subject to its gain cap between Pearl's turns.
Deep Learning is her offensive support window. Her 180-Energy Ultimate selects an ally other than Pearl as the Aesthetic Archetype. The target receives a 10%/15%/30% action advance with one/two/three Elation members in the team.
At four Elation members, that becomes an extra turn with 30 temporary Certified Banger and 60 temporary Punchline. Pearl's own Basic ATK then becomes an AoE attack that heals the team, with three Deep Learning charges. If her chosen ally is Elation, it also deals Ice Elation DMG calculated from that ally's stats.
Pearl's Skills at a Glance
In combat: start with Technique, use Skill when healing or Repellency needs a refill, and cast Ultimate before your chosen Elation ally's burst. Use Pearl's Enhanced Basic ATKs between Ultimates to heal and generate Skill Points. For the A6 refund, let the selected Elation ally use their Ultimate after Pearl sets Aesthetic Archetype; the refund helps pay her next 180-Energy cost. In a team with fewer than four Elation members, plan around action advance rather than an extra turn.
Is Pearl Worth Pulling?
Yes, if you are building an Elation team and need a sustain who also accelerates your carry. At E0, Pearl already combines team healing, shared damage mitigation, Effect RES, cleansing, and Skill Point generation. In a four-Elation lineup, her extra turn and Elation Skill add a clear offensive reason to use her over a conventional healer. Silver Wolf LV.999 teams benefit especially from the additional turn and temporary Punchline; Evanescia and other Elation carries can also use her support.
She is a lower priority if your main teams are outside Elation or if your existing sustain already handles difficult fights and you are saving for a different carry. Pearl still heals and mitigates damage in a mixed team, but the four-member extra turn, the Elation Archetype's bonus damage, and the 90-Energy A6 refund are important parts of her value.
Pearl Pull Recommendations
- Most players: E0S0. Pull one copy first and use an available Elation Light Cone. Build the four-Elation team before deciding whether more copies or her signature are worth your Stellar Jade.
- For a smoother rotation: consider E0S1. Colors for Tomorrow adds DEF, team utility, healing, and 10 fixed Energy after her Elation Skill. Choose it if you want Pearl's own sustain and Energy economy to feel more consistent.
- For a heavily invested Elation team: consider E2S0 or E2S1. E1 boosts team Elation and provides two fatal-hit saves per battle; E2 adds team damage and expands the Ultimate's action-advance benefit to other Elation allies. Prioritize E2 when that wider team boost matters more to you than the signature Light Cone.
