Zenless Zone Zero 2.8 New Characters: Promeia & Billy SP
Promeia
Promeia appeared in the 2.6 Season 2 Interlude as a Krampus Compliance Authority judge — cold, composed, high-ranking. Her kit prediction comes from the leaked Drive Disc set "Notes from the Chained."
The 4pc requires running both Abloom and Freeze simultaneously — currently only Vivian, Aria, and Nangong Yu can trigger Abloom. More mechanically demanding than Miyabi but higher ceiling. Freeze is no longer just CC — it becomes a damage amplifier.
Billy SP
Billy has been a free A-Rank agent since launch. His SP version was hinted at in Version 2.6 — a post on Inter-Knot about the "Hollow Hero Tournament" shows a silhouette with a red-and-white Starlight Knight design, unmistakably Billy-coded.
Currently confirmed: Fire attribute, Attack specialty, S-Rank Limited, Phase 2 placement (Leifa). No Drive Disc leaks, no kit details, no team comp predictions yet.
Zenless Zone Zero 2.8 Rerun Rumors: Lucia or Harumasa
Lucia
Lucia's core mechanic is maintaining a Dream state to extend Ether Veil: Wellspring — continuous HP scaling and flat damage bonuses for the team. She also generates off-field Aftershock damage and penetration buffs via Harmonies.
Her rerun alongside Promeia is meaningful — she fills the third slot of the Ice Anomaly + Stun team. If you missed her original run and are building toward that composition, this is the window.
Harumasa
Harumasa is an Electric Attack agent with a bow-and-blade combat style, dealing high-frequency damage through enhanced dash attacks. He's been one of the most discussed rerun candidates for several versions.
He was dropped from 2.7 per leaker Seele Leaks, in favor of Lucia, Orphie, and Magus. Leifa now points to 2.8 Phase 2 — but without a second source, this remains speculative. For Electric Attack team builders, especially with Cissia (2.7) now available, a Harumasa rerun would be valuable roster depth.
Zenless Zone Zero Future Character: Severian Lowell
Severian won't be in 2.8, but he's worth knowing about now. He's Seth's older brother and Cissia's direct superior at the New Eridu Public Security HQ — a character with significant story weight who was first referenced in the Undercover R&B questline and made his first actual on-screen appearance in the 2.6 Season 2 Interlude.
